Voltron Rewatch: Pidge's glasses
The fact that Pidge destroyed her vision just to wear Matt's glasses absolutely kills me. Like, she didn't need glasses before, but to keep a piece of her brother near her she held onto his glasses. So for a while, this implies that she walked around pretty much blind until her eyes adjusted to the glasses. Which brings me to another thought-
I think it would have been really impactful if somewhere along the way the glasses broke (because glasses get damaged enough as it is, and when you're constantly fighting evil imperialistic aliens i feel as if the probability of that instance would skyrocket) but she refused to wear new ones despite constant prodding from the other paladins (Lance no doubt) so they're basically being held together by electrical tape, hopes, and dreams by the end of the show. Has someone drawn that? I really wanna draw that.
