Indulge in the flavors of classic caramel apple pie with this delightful dip paired with crispy cinnamon sugar pie chips. Perfect for parties or gatherings, this sweet treat will surely be a crowd-pleaser!
Ingredients: 1 package cream cheese, softened. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup caramel sauce. 2 medium apples, diced. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1/4 cup chopped pecans optional. 10 flour tortillas. 2 tablespoons melted butter. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
Instructions: In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Spread the mixture evenly onto a serving dish. Drizzle caramel sauce over the cream cheese mixture. In a separate bowl, toss diced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning. Arrange the diced apples over the caramel sauce layer. Sprinkle chopped pecans over the diced apples if desired. Preheat oven to 350F 175C. Brush both sides of flour tortillas with melted butter. In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle the mixture over the buttered tortillas. Using a pizza cutter, cut the tortillas into chip-sized triangles. Arrange the cinnamon sugar-coated tortilla triangles on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until the chips are golden and crispy. Remove the chips from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving alongside the caramel apple pie dip.
