So, this is what 30 years married looks like. A lot more weight. A lot less hair. A lot less satin (thank fuck, for that!) 2 amazing kids. Many tears. So much laughter. And more love than I’d ever imagined was possible. Last night was our wedding anniversary. After supper, we went to my favorite (lower peninsula) Lake Michigan beach, took a walk, hunted for cool stones (found a heart-shaped rock, a tiny Petosky stone, a faery stone, and what looks like rose quartz along with plenty of others. We watched the sun set and listened to the lake’s lullaby.
