i love the idea of adult penelope x sierra because sierra’s one of those people who generally has their shit together and i can just picture her pushing penelope to socialize at town events and dragging her to the gym with her at the five seasons and reminding her that she needs to drink more water which is v amusing to me

pierra would be mad cute.

right 😩 the idea of high school pierra is sweet because of penelope’s schoolgirl crush on sierra and the way sierra teased her a bit in the flashback, but adult pierra especially intrigues me because i feel like it’s a dynamic that has so much potential.

and i like that the few interactions they’ve had have been generally positive? the way sierra was so comfortable approaching penelope in 1x03 indicates some level of familiarity. and, while penelope was upset about the whole jason thing, i do think she appreciated the gesture. it honestly makes sense that they would know each other pretty well considering josie and cheryl were best friends. not to mention i’m sure they crossed paths often seeing as sierra was mayor and the blossoms were the most powerful family in town.

it’s funny because in the riverdale tie-in comic it’s mentioned that the year before s1 there were rumors going around town that clifford was having an affair with sierra lmao. but anyway, i digress. one of the things i loved most about 3x12 was penelope’s quote about mckeller “daring to be happy” and sierra’s “penelope, did you bring them?” in the school scene. the implication that they had a discussion, just the two of them, about the antidotes is just....wow. i love it. i wish we could have seen.

i like to imagine penelope stuck around after all of the other parents left sierra’s suite. i also like the idea of them bumping into each other often at the five seasons, given the fact that they were both working/shacking up there.

the juxtaposition between sierra being someone who has her life together and penelope being someone who is constantly finding herself tangled up in some sort of chaos tickles me. but i also genuinely believe their personalities would mesh well together. they have just enough in common to be able to bond and form a meaningful connection but are different enough that they could also help each other grow/bring out certain qualities in each other.

and they’re both sexy, powerful women with ambitions who are driven to succeed and refuse to let anyone keep them down. they would undoubtedly plot to take hiram down at some point, i just know it. i feel like penelope would admire sierra’s intelligence and appreciate how dedicated and passionate she is. and sierra would be taken with all of penelope’s little quirks. i love the image of sierra trying to convince penelope to do like...pilates with her or something and penelope being like :/ we should have a graveyard picnic instead....

their ideas of romance are very different and that’s okay. they’re both always down for a wine night, though.
