Hi guys, I'm back to criticizing the new regs. What a surprise😐.

So according to Wache the software malfunctioned and decided to aggressively save and recharge the battery on turn 1 by itself, not Max's fault at all.

Which is ridiculous, the software alone should not just decide to recharge the battery so aggressively that the car just lets go and the driver can do nothing but be a passenger in the crash.

Max has been very outspoken about his criticism for these new regs since 2023 so it's pretty ironic that he's also the first victim of the regs. He could've seriously injured his hands in the crash today, and we all know how important a driver's hands are to them.

He got off easy today but what if someone else doesn't? What if this happens to another driver? What if this happens on a street circuit where there's no gravel trap to slow the car down? What if this happens to a driver in a race start and they're 10th or 15th?

Are we seriously waiting for someone's career to end or god forbid something worse to happen before the officials realize that everything about these new regs is wrong and dangerous?

In clearer words: A driver's life should not be something that a software in the car can decide in milliseconds only for the driver to face permanent consequences of those decisions.

Max has every right to be critical of these regs, to question the officials about them and to be concerned about the future of racing in an era that is making racing so difficult that even the most adaptive drivers are struggling.

Norris said today that the reason he ran over that debris was because he kept having to look at the steering wheel to check his speed and the state of his battery. And look I'll admit, I never take Norris seriously but the context here is that, are we really just going to watch the drivers manage batteries and speeds rather than actual racing and overtakes. Where the hell is the fun in that?

The constructors championship has already been decided, and overtaking is going to be extremely difficult so what are we even going to watch?
