While neither Luke nor Vader being able to swim is hilarious, I propse the aneurisms Piett gets after finding out both the hero that’s been destroying them and terrifying superior officers barely know any math. Darth Vader himself thinks the average amount of math to know is addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Vader runs the military the same way Anakin ran the 501st. Everybody learns very quickly that he is in fact Insane and also that His Plans Will Go Wrong. Piette knows that he's in a good mood when more stuff than usual blows up, because a happy Vader means a more destructive Vader.

Dunno when I am going to post the next chapter of "Excuse Me, That Is My Emotional Support Animal" (I am the queen of procrastination) buuuuttt I just wanted to share this little gem.

Piett did not know much about the Force—unlike some of his peers, he wasn’t foolish enough to deny its existence—but as he turned to face the Dark Lord of the Sith, he found himself wondering, not for the first time, whether it might possess a twisted sense of humour. The kind that singled out one man aboard a city-sized warship and said: Yes. Him. That one. Let’s see how far we can push him before he starts screaming into the endless abyss of space.
