So on Friday I quickly created a digital pattern for an MSD sized doll carrier, mainly because I wanted someplace nice to store my dolls when I am not working with them.
I exclusively used fabrics and notions I had on hand, so the zipper is a little short, but overall I am happy with the result.
I should have probably interfaced it, but I didn't have any. Instead I optioned for the exterior fabric, a layer of fleece and then a satin lining. The next one I make I will definitely serge (I opted for the overlock stitch on my regular sewing machine this time), but as a proof of concept I am pleased.
I am happy to share this pattern, but if I do so, it will more than likely be done without instructions. Primarily because there are many different ways to sew this depending on your skill level. It is a really easy project (the most difficult part is the zipper).
If me sharing it is something anyone is interested in, just let me know!
PS
The outfit she is wearing is some more of the sewing I got done this weekend! I am really in love with both of these fabrics and plan on making hoodies out of both!!
