I'm gonna post more on the story latter, but here are some random things about him:

After he runs away he discovers tons of different foods, the first time he tried something besides food without bananas he fell in love.

He still has a soft spot for bananas.

Link is genderfluid and as soon as Zelda and Impa walk into gerudo town and he's not allowed in, he buys himself Vai clothing and uses them without trouble.

Urbosa at first gets mad bc she thinks Link thinks he's above the law. but then just sees how comfortable he is like that and lets him be.

Link, Zelda and Impa spend a whole day buying pretty clothes and Link buys as many cheap earrings as he can (He has used earing before buy Yiga only have like 2 or 3 diferent designs) Zelds buys him a very nice pair of emeralds ones that make his eyes pop.

That might be the first time anyone sees Link be that chill and just... acting as a person and not a soldier

After he wakes up from the Slumber of Restoration, he has no money, but keeps finding more on his bag and ramdomly on the grass. After a while he sees a pikori (in Minish Cap they say that Pikori like to make Hylians happy and hide rupees on the grass and pots for them to find)

The pikori have a special affection towards him bc they see in him the hero, and the hero was heir friend once.

Before the calamity he can't see pikori, after it he can for a while.

He also ramdomly sees a wolf, the first times he's scared at night, but he gets used to seeing it walking around. When he tries to go to the lost woods he gets... well, lost... and the wolf shows up, link starts following him out of curiosity and finds the center of the woods.
