Teaser with a Twist for #TeaserTuesday ๐ How to: 1/Come to a seated position, knees bent; squeeze knees, legs together; roll back behind your sitting bones, tummy in; 2/Place hands lightly behind thighs, lift chest up, shoulders draw back towards each other & down towards your hips, gaze is lifted; 3/Lift your feet up one at a time so that your heels are in line with your knees; find your balance here. Continue to keep chest lifted, legs engaged, tummy in; 4/Slowly extend your arms above your head making sure to avoid letting your shoulders shrug up to your ears; maintain a long neck free from tension & a long spine, keep chest & gaze lifted. Now slowly extend your knees; 5/Take an inhale to prepare; as youโre exhaling gently twist to your right, inhale back to centre, repeat on the other side; Try for 10 reps! If it becomes too challenging to keep your legs fully extended; bend your knees or keep your feet on the floor! You can also choose to place your hands behind your head or bend your elbows like cactus arms. So many options!
