     For an instant, she forgot how he once knew the boy that was Ben Solo, before turning into a monster. He wasn’t exactly a common subject in a conversation. Kylo Ren? Yes, but more like strategically speaking. Would it be possible to encounter him in this mission? Would he be stronger as she was? They probably will, he was informed that he’s supposedly the best pilot in the Resistance, so they need him, meaning they’ll come for him soon enough, and they’ll be ready when they do. “ Am I supposed to care? “

“General Organa promised we’d have air again tomorrow. Just one more night of this.” he sighed, wiping away the sweat beading up on his forehead. He closed his eyes for a moment, wishing for even a small breeze to return. “We can survive one more night, right?”

“I don’t know if I can.” Finn rolled onto his side, sighing happily when the heat that had been trapped between his back and the sheets began to dissipate. “Ugh, you’re even handsome when you’re sweaty and sleep deprived.” He sighed, reaching out to comb back Poe’s hair.

“But it’s so hot.” Finn whined, looking over at the other man. With his limbs cast out as far as he could spread them, he let out a low groan of frustration when the gentle breeze coming through the window faded away, leaving only the hot, muggy night in its wake. Their air conditioning unit had broken, leaving their shared room unbearably hot at night. Although he usually loved sharing a bed with Poe, their combined body heat made it impossible to fall asleep.
