dear evan's anons: what is transphobia is what you're ALL referring to, it's known as the cotton ceiling. it says that cis people will consider us trans people friends (and perhaps great friends or even best friends at that) but they will never consider us possible romantic partners because of the fact that we are trans. this is not always done consciously but that doesn't mean it isn't always transphobia. transphobia isn't always done actively, it's something that needs to be unlearned.
