Met some REALLY cool friends at last night's CHS meeting. Seriously, if you're in Chicagoland and want to hang out with reptiles, come to our meetings. They're free! They're open to the public! And you are guaranteed to get to meet something cool! Look up the Chicago Herpetological Society on Facebook/insta, our website is broken as hell right now.
"let me in I want out" is not just a cat thing
Albertine is a three years old albino Southern pine snake (pituophis melanoleucus mugitus) and she's a most excellent young lady, with a lot of personality. She threw a full tantrum the other day when I dared to offer her a second chick for dinner. I'm a terrible snake dad.
