a swarm of emotions engulfed minjae as he contemplated if he should walk through the large grandeur doors of mitsy's dance hall. he has no experience attending events like these, and he knew he'd make a fool out of himself somewhere down the line. the music was muffled and loud enough to be heard outside the hall. he cleared his throat and adjusted his posture, bracing to open the door. he swung the doors open, stepping into the hall and taking note of his surroundings. he noticed a platter of food and drinks adorning one of the beautifully decorated tables, his eyes gawking at how the decorations looked. everything was valentine's day themed, even the drinks. he noticed other guests, their outfits and masks matching to a t. the bustle of laughter echoed in the hall, guests conversing amongst one another. the light illuminated the dance floor, and an assortment of dance cards were laid out on the table adjacent to the food. he decided on a whim to grab one, not anticipating anyone to ask him to dance or vice versa, putting it on his wrist.
he was starting not to regret his decision, the food calling his name along with the drinks. he wondered if he'd see his coworker pepper, or anyone who would usually come to the pub. he definitely needed liquid courage if he was going to make it through the night, as he isn't aware of how to behave in settings like these.
