4. Talk about the thing you regret most so far I mostly regret not finishing college. I dropped out when I got sick at the end of my freshman year and never went back. 8. Talk about the thing you are most proud of Probably my offspring. Despite the odds, she’s happy, healthy, and adorable. I guess I’m also pretty proud of my current life...situation? I’m employed at a FABULOUS job that pays well, and I work alongside people I call my extended family. I own a home and two cars, have a 401k, and take yearly vacations. I’d say I’m doing okay. 22. Talk about your worst fear I am frightened most by the thought of losing my husband. It’s pretty corny, but my life is basically completed by him and the thought of losing him is enough to give me a panic attack. 39. Talk about the things you wish you’d known earlier. I wish I’d known that you are not responsible for being a man’s mother when you date him. I let almost three years of my life slip away dating a manchild who made me do his laundry, cook his meals, and clean up after him. He knew nothing of life beyond getting high and watching tv. I tolerated his verbal, mental, and sometimes physical abuse because I thought I could change him. I wish I’d known that that was a red flag- but I was young and I thought I was in love!

Ball python humidity advice??

I just switched my python from a plastic bin to a bigger glass terrarium. The bin was great at keeping humidity in, but it was also great at keeping it out too, which is why I switched.

I put about 1.5 inches of zoo med rainforest floor cypress mulch bedding, and the humidity was EXCELLENT…. for about two days :-/ The bedding is already COMPLETELY dried out, and I have to spray down the cage every hour in order for the humidty to stay above 40 :-/

Should I add a thicker layer of bedding??? Or would that just dry out too? It is so expensive….

I am now putting a cork board over one half of the top of the tank to try and hold in the humidity. I’m going to get a larger and shallower water dish and keep it in the middle of the tank to see if that will help as well.

Any other advice???

My first few days with Opal weren't bad at all, on her end. But I had never had a puppy and had only had a dog before very briefly, so even though I had spent so many weeks researching I had no idea what I was supposed to do with a new little fluff.

you’re doing such a wonderful job with opal tbh. looking up to you! kaj doesn’t seem too miserable so far :) i can’t help but wonder if every single dog owner i cross in the street has been through this.

Sadly patience cannot be bought on ebay... maybe check amazon??? Haha, I'm sure you'll do great and I can't wait for puppy pictures. I got Opal used to her crate by feeding her in it and letting her go in and out whenever she wanted. Good luck!

thanks for the tip! thankfully i’m home all day long, so i’ll only rely on crating if i really need to leave him on his own - for an hour or two at most. other than that he’ll spend as much time in his crate as he wants. lots of pictures to come indeed, yay! have a great day x
