Chapter 37 - The Two Dracos
It was an indescribably strange feeling to remember the events, remember the sensations and the intense emotion, yet feel utterly disconnected to them, as if he didn’t recognise the person he’d been just a few weeks ago. That wasn’t quite right though, he did recognise himself, he remembered it all, it all made logical sense, the connections were there, but they were cold, rational connections, and he wasn’t sure if his brain had quite caught up with everything else. He really had thought he could just push through it just now. Talk to Granger, get his head on straight, get this whole thing sorted out once and for all. That had been his plan, and it had failed spectacularly. It had failed because he hadn’t expected to feel the full force of all those alien emotions in real time.
