#5 - Most popular fic this year

It was Dreaming of Harry, a Harry Potter/Draco Malfoy fic which was written on a bit of a whim, but ended up being unexpectedly popular. 

#18 - Current number of WIPs

Just the one. My Tomlinshaw Harry Potter crossover, Little Lion Man. I just need to crack on and finish chapter six and write the difficult scenes I’ve been wibbling over, because the rest of it is nearly done. I don’t think I could have more than one WIP on the go, it would give me anxiety. I’m always impressed by people who have several and update to a regular schedule.

#21 - Most memorable comment/review

All of them. I was thinking of mentioning comments from people whose writing I admire which make me yell at my screen with excitement, but then I thought about comments from friends who offer tireless support, comments on scrappy unpublished drafts from beta and alpha readers which keep me going until the story is finished, comments on WIPs which help me push the story along, comments when people you have written gift fics for enjoy the story you’ve created, the unexpected comments which knock you for six and those long, essay-like comments that are amazing to roll around in. The truth is, every single comment that drops into my inbox, makes me happy (unless it’s a flame, obviously, LOL) and I am fortunate enough to have received lots of wonderful comments over the course of this year, which have mattered to me for all kinds of different reasons, or which have been critical motivation at a specific time. It would be impossible to identify just one.

#24 - Favorite fic you read this year

I’m going to write up a proper rec of this fic on my HP blog, but I adored my gift for HD Erised, Bricks & Mortar (currently anon). There are few things as warming as getting a gift from someone you feel knows you and this story was rich, wonderfully charming, brilliantly written and spoke to me on all sorts of levels, with its bookshops, law libraries, children’s book related discussions, background femslash and a lovely note at the start. I have revisited it several times since it posted and absolutely loved it.
