‘ where’s your gratitude? i rescued you! ’

Was she ever supposed to just expect help to come out of left field? Of course not– but was she ever going to ask for help? Absolutely not. She’s worked alone before, and she was fully capable of doing things on her own– so to have someone stepping in without her asking for it just grated on her nerves.
Oh, how stubborn she was!
“I didn’t ASK for your help.” She hisses, her left hand tenderly holding her right shoulder. The hacker should have been in and out in a matter of minutes, but one slip-up led to a physical scuffle that ended up giving her a few cuts and bruises, a dislocated shoulder, and possibly some broken bones.
Maybe she should have been grateful that Mercy stepped in when she did, but injuries like these weren’t going to hold her back. She probably could have gotten it all done even with one arm out of commission– or at least, that’s what she thinks.
“I was FINE. I had it under control.” She’s lying, but she’s incredibly stubborn with this. “This is nothing, I can handle–” The hand that was holding her shoulder shifted in an attempt to find what had been popped out of place, forcing her to yelp from the pain, but she quickly silences herself and clenches her jaws together.
