a e s t h e t i c | I’m the kind of person who cannot function in an environment unless it’s aesthetically pleasing. 😅🤷♀️ ⠀⠀ I can’t focus because it will annoy me so much until I can change it so it somewhat satisfies me. ⠀⠀ I’d say my biggest pet peeve is ugliness - like an ugly space -especially a public space - or a eyesore of a book cover (lookin at you school textbooks and bad posters), or a bad personal outfit, disorganization in general. I can appreciate things that aren’t my personal taste - as long as they have a feel of style or aesthetic thought. I cannot appreciate things that don’t value aesthetics. ⠀⠀ When something isn’t right (like an outfit with a bag that doesn’t match) or when things are not organized in an aesthetically pleasing way it just makes me uncomfortable. Things just feel “off” and it’s something that I will be keenly aware of and notice until I figure out what needs to change and change it. I could walk into a room sometime and just hate everything about it a need to rearrange the whole space - and I don’t rest until I do. I’ve been known to do this at 1 am. I’ve mentioned before that I’ve no idea if these are OCD traits, or maybe it’s just a yearning for a constant sense of harmony in all things in my life but yeah it’s one of those weird little quirks about me. ⠀⠀ Saying all that though I do survive when things get messy, when things are not organized- they just annoy me and play on my mind until I can do something about it. If I ignore them the rest of my life can end up being affected (clean your space clean your mind ). ⠀⠀ Probably Seems like a really silly thing to think about to many people but it’s something I can’t help. On the brightside everything always looks on point 👌 ⠀⠀ But yeah when things like this happen, where all my everyday items match it’s so satisfying.
