Possible idea for when “Charlie” confronts the hermits with impulse in tow:

As he walked in, some of the hermits had froze. He smiled, their faces when their precious friend was seen in his grasp was glorious. He could feel their anger, their guilt, their confusion, their fear. Before he could start his glorious speech however, he heard someone from behind attempting to attack him. A foolish knight charging at him, he used his magic to send the knight into a trance by using his own fears. The others stepped back as Charlie spoke.

“It seems even the bravest can be most foolish. Your friend didn’t seem to help that case, you all must be wondering who I am. My name is ‘Charlie’, a certain ally of mine has told me of your home and I thought ‘why not see what it is like?’ I must say-“

“WHAT DID YOU DO??” A angry roar of fury came from a blonde haired hermit now the same flame as his eyes. Another blonde hermit with a lab coat, holding him back as the admin stood face to face with him. Charlie recollected himself “not to worry there firebug, they are both just in their own thoughts. Numb, so that I may control or in impulse’s case, ‘replace’ for a short while.” The group looked at wels and impulse, eyes both glowing pinkish and looking lost. Impulse was merely a zombie, while poor wels was lost in his own fear, the fear of himself.

I do get that the going by Charlie in a s8 thing but I totally love it, but I think this may go something a little bit like this.

Pink just giggling, the hermits before him unable to really move without dosloding impulse, who was slumped over his shoulder. He coukd hear the knight run at him, trapping him in the pink fog and having some take impulse, as he came to pet the lion hybrid, chuckling as the knight started to purr at the ministrations he was doing.

"Let them go!"

He chuckled at the blonde one.

"And why would I listen to you hotshot? None of you knew impulse was gone, and I doubt my friend here remembers who any of you are."

But all impulse saw were sad people, some angry too. He doesn't want them like that, they're his friends.

And....there shouldn't be a second one of him should there?

But the other was back in an instant, bringing more of that pretty pink to take his mind away. But he fought this time, wanting to help the people who were hurting!

But it was so bright, he whimpered at the sun. String arms were quick to help lead him away, and impulse was suprised- or rather, comforted to feel doc grab him. That was his name right? Everything was stil lso fuzzy, thoughts were overwhelming and he just wanted to sleep.

Now it was just wels, trapped within himself.

Pink ends up getting skizz, and uh...skizz thinks he's impulse. That he's just chilin with his best friend, unaware he's gettin played like a fiddle.

Pinks favorite food is jello w whipped cream
