Pinkwashing allows uninformed people to think Israel is some gay paradise. There is no marriage equality in Israel, even for heterosexual Palestinians/Israeli Arab peoples. There is no marriage equality for queer people in Israel either. Do not let the uberpopular appeal of a rainbow city like Tel Aviv get you twisted. Israel isn’t queer friendly.
