#MarchBookstagram2018 Day 27: Current Read The Heart Forger by @rinchupeco • This is book 2 of The Bone Witch series and I loved the first book so much, so naturally I went out of my bookban and preordered this as soon as it was possible! I’m at 9% since I started last weekend and I can’t wait for the hassle-free holidays this week so I could read in peace!!! • Remember when I said I no longer get interesting things by mail these days? Well, look at that fancy bookmark!! I am so happy I got out of the house late today and got the mail BEFORE I took photos of my ebook! 😍 It came with a small card with the author’s signature. :) • Um, I know the story doesn’t happen near an ocean or whatever but these are some gnarly seashells from my sister’s collection(@ruhhurtado ), kind of like the gnarly things Tea summons as a Dark Asha. And the carved tooth necklace is the closest I can find as substitute for a Heartsglass, bec you know, the book is titled The Heart Forger (Duh? LOLJK) • Anyway, unpopular opinion (since this caption is already 5k words long and you’re probably just gonna tl;dr the whole thing anyway🙄) I liked the ARC cover more than the actual cover for this book. 😬 I mean, the white one is still awesome and it matches the purple cover of the first book, but I think the blue/black tones of the ARC cover is cooler. Also, I’m partial to the color blue, so there’s that. 🤷🏻♂️ I’ve only seen online photos of these two covers so maybe the white is better physically???
