Not only are they so dang cute, but construction-wise, I really dig them. They're backed with felt -- and honestly, it's the best pin board backing I've seen. (Sturdier than just interfacing, but thin enough to use my pin backs on, unlike cork-backed ones -- and trust me, I've had pin boards with both of those). I'm especially fond of the velvet ones, as that fabric is particularly forgiving of pin holes when you reareange pins. . .
