Pip, have you ever seen Damien cry?

Quite a bit, actually. Believe it or not, Damien comes to tears from simple frustration, though I know he tries hard not to blow anything out of proportion. I don’t shame him for it, of course! I just do my best to support him. Everyone’s emotions are their own, and I’m not one to judge. Besides, it would be rather hypocritical of me. I don’t cry often, but the few times I have as of late, he’s been there to comfort me.

tbh all I want rn is for kleya to eventually feel safe enough to allow herself to slowly take down the spiked, armored walls around her and open up to other people. for her to allow herself to feel and express grief, joy, excitement, amusement, for her to be flustered, for her to make real friends for the first time in her adult life, for her to know that she is genuinely loved. to learn how to love. to have people who show her every day that she is appreciated, valued, admired, and people like to have her around.

I want her to be invited to meals by vel and/or mon. I want her to have a home she feels safe in. to have people she knows she can trust and rely on.

I want her to know that she has friends everywhere, because even though the galaxy has been so hard on her, there are people out there who are soft and kind and full of love despite it all
