For the music asks: 1, 13, and 29. :)
1) your favorite album opener - god so hard!!!! Such a difficult question!!! I really enjoy Jenny Was A Friend of Mine by the Killers off of Hot Fuss....it’s so ominous. Foundation by Years & Years off of Communion is so haunting and emotional. It lives in my head rent free. Flume by Bon Iver off of For Emma, Forever Ago is also SO GOOD. Nina Cried Power by Hozier from Wasteland, Baby!, also SO good. Habibi by Tamino off of Amir is SO GOOD it really introduces you to his powerful range. Til Now by Banks off of III is very good, I listened to it on repeat last summer. On the Other Side by Blanco White is very good as well.
13) a reboot of a song/songs you already loved (remix, mashup, acoustic, etc.) - definitely this version of Superposition (Reflection) by Young the Giant. I also really enjoy a lot of covers, but I don’t think that’s what this question is about!
29) your favorite album closer - I already answered this one but I’m thinking about it again. Hmm...I Feel It Coming by the Weeknd off of Starboy (I fucking love the Weeknd but I always feel like this tweet whenever I listen to him), is so good! Your Man by Joji is great! Re: Stacks by Bon Iver off of For Emma, Forever Ago is also so good (look it’s a perfect album). A couple of problems with this question: I don’t always listen to albums as albums, I tend to cherry pick songs and then listen to them obsessively; if I do listen to albums I always love the second to last song instead of the last; I listen to a lot of playlists and a lot of film scores so it’s hard, you know? Anyway, thank you :) <3
