Ever since Brent moved in with Pippa, everything had felt perfect. Well, almost perfect since proposing to her and getting married would make his life perfect with her and Bethany. It was always so nice coming home to the both of them and falling asleep next to Pippa every single night and even Bethany would join them in bed sometimes which Brent didn’t mind. They felt like a family, hell, they were basically family and nothing could ruin this. Coming home from work, he walked inside and saw Bethany playing with her toys in the living room. “I’m home, babe!” He called to Pippa, not sure where she was in the house. He put his things down and walked over to give Bethany a kiss on the top of her head.

“I’m glad we met up for lunch. I feel like I haven’t seen you in a while.”

“I love you,” Brent said with a smile, holding Pippa in his arms and he leaned down to press his lips against her forehead.

“Since we have the day to ourselves, I think we should go on some kind of adventure,” Brent said smiling with a shrug following. “But, if you want to be lazy around the house then we can do that too. What are you in the mood for?”

Ever since Brent and Pippa have expressed their feelings for one another, they have been spending more and more time together. Everything has been going very well and honestly, Brent was fine with taking things a bit slower, especially because of Bethany as he wanted to make a good impression and he wanted to show respect most of all. Tonight, Bethany was over at Pippa’s mothers house so the two could spend some alone time together. “So, what should we make for dinner tonight?” He asked, kissing her on the top of her head as they walked down the road towards his house.

It was yet another normal day and happy to have his day off of work, Brent decided to go out for a run. He ran for about five miles and when he was in need of a break, he slowed down and pulled out one of his headphones to listen to the city, taking in all of the sounds it had to offer. Grabbing his water bottle, he raised it to his lips to take a sip and turned around to see the one and only Pippa Hamilton walking towards him. “Pippa! Hey, how’s it going?” He happily greeted with a smile. She was so damn gorgeous and he couldn’t help but think about the massive crush he had on her back in high school.
