I’ll start off with actor Jay au. Basically Jay doesn’t become a ninja, everything from season 1-5 happens the same except there’s no jay. Between season 5 and season 6, Jay meets Cole (it’s bruise) and for some reason the two feel a little connected (their elements balance each other out) anyway so Jay does his actor stuff and then Cole is telling the others about how he met his celebrity crush and he felt a connection and they all tease him and then Wu’s all like “😲” and he goes to talk to libber about letting Jay be a ninja and she’s like “no!” Bc all her friends died/went missing and they were all ninja blah blah blah I’m writing a fanfic of it. Eventually there’ll be a skybound rewrite for it.
Second au is Cole posses jay au. Basically after skybound Cole starts to disappear and the only way to save him is to possess someone and he goes to Jay bc they’re best friends and all. Cole doesn’t know what he got himself into tho bc like it’s post skybound and I think if Cole wandered too far into jays mind he’d be able to kinda understand happened on MK. Also he remembers Skybound in the au.
I have multiple aus where Jay merged with his element but my most like.. thought out one is a skybound one. Basically Jay is up in djinnjago like in canon and stuff, and it’s like storming and stuff. And he can feel his element rushing through his veins and since lightning can move at the speed of light, really he wouldn’t be able to be stopped. So before Nadakhan marries Nya he merges with the lightning and uses that to defeat Nadakhan but like he actually dies instead of just going back into his pot. And then all the ninja are sad and stuff an ninjago is like basically destroyed and the ninja have to deal with that and also that Jay dissipated into the clouds. There’s another lightning Jay one but he does remember everything and he goes back to the monastery and really just messes with everyone cuz like. He just chills out in all their electronics. Ive got my pirate jay au which has lots of stuff but in short Jay makes a deal with nadakhan to marry him if he promises to make djinnjago somewhere else and not Ninjago city and so nadakhan is like. “Hmm… okay!” And then jay is gone for like forever after that and the ninja don’t see him like ever again. Until the crew gains his trust and then Jay killed Nadakhan and takes MK back to Ninjago so he can see his friends. Except he looks so different. Also Nadakhan lowkey thought that Jay was actually liking it 💀 like Jay wasn’t treated like a prisoner eventually but then when they finally had trust jay stabbed him in the back lol.
This one I’m lumping all together with like a ton of the aus I have bc like. They all went together but basically I made a mad scientist Jay who lost everyone so he went to different timelines to find a happy one but every single one he dies alone so he’s like “screw that” and goes to like all the universes to kill every other Jay besides him so HE can live a happy ending. And so like I had iron man jay, Thor Jay, mermaid Jay, house wife Jay, insane Jay, and ohhh so many 😭😭 it’s actually so embarrassing I made them in like 8th grade so it’s actually so bad. But then like my main jay ends up killed insane Jay and everyone went back to their universe or whateves. That one’s kinda lame but I made it in 8th grade…
I also have my spider man jay au which is like. Jay is literally spider man so. Except ed dies bc ed is his uncle Ben. Or maybe Wu??? Garmadon is Norman Osborn and Lloyd is Harry blah blah blah. I’ve drawn spider man jay a few times but they’re but so. They’re also from like 8th grade? 9th grade? Idk they’re old tho so I don’t like them.
I have my elemental cousins au where Morro and Jay are elemental cousins. Basically there was a master of storms like way wayyyy before masters of wind and lightning. And so he makes this storm temple and splits his powers into two so no one can hold the power bc he thought it was too powerful for one person to possess. So he splits the element in the storm temple and one day the ninja go to investigate and Jay has like this really REALLY bad feeling about it and he’s like “hey guysss maybe we should go back” and they’re all like “no this could become a threat lets go” and so they go to this room and there’s a lantern in the middle of it. Jay being Jay decided to touch it, but what they don’t know is that Morro, after he died in season 5, he got trapped in the storm temple but like. On the departed side. Bc the temple is both in the living realm and the departed realm. So Jay touches the lantern and immediately he falls to the ground as his elemental power shoots out of his body. And it’s like in dragon form or whatever bf dragons are cool. And then there’s another dragon that joins the lightning dragon element thing and then it causes an eternal elemental storm. So both morro and Jay are without an element but it freed morro from the temple and they need to actually team up to end the storm but Jay can’t do anything really bc his element kinda powered him. Morro was fine tho cuz he was like. A ghost and all. Anywho that’s one of my fav aus and I want to write it but I’m soooo lazy. I’ve also wanted to draw it but I’m. I’m lazy. So you’ll prolly never hear about that one ever again. Maybe. Idk.
