Anyway, I'm Saline! I'm Nonbinary and mostly use They/Them pronouns but you could pretty much use any pronouns and I won't really care too much

I like drawing art and writing fanfiction and I mostly work on the many aus that I have. The two things I make the most stuff for is Ninjago and Sonic, though I occasionally do things with my original stuff. I also got into Xenoblade but the main thing I care about involving that series is Zeke and Pandoria.

Because I've had people ask me this before, it's perfectly ok if you want to draw fanart for any of my stuff. In fact, I love seeing it and I try to reblog any fanart that I see :3

Corpse's motivations are a bit more complex than what you may initially think, which also accounts for the other characters. They all think Corpse just wishes to cover the world in plant-life until there's nothing left. After all, that's the goal of the cult that worships the Whispering Corpse, and that's what Silver's future looked like, so that's gotta be the main motivation, right?

I've mentioned before that I really love Corpse as a character and this is just a tiny nugget to explain why :3

You know given how there is a fan concept of Neo Sage, how would Neo Sage and Corpse Charmy interact?

Well my version of Neo Sage is just kinda of my normal aged up version of her so.... Sage and Corpse are pretty antagonistic towards each other for obvious reasons. Sage wants to get Charmy back, Corpse doesn't want to separate from Charmy, so there's obvious conflict. However Sage does try to play it off like she's simply worried about Corpse destroying the world and by extension the Eggman Empire because she can and will find every excuse to deny the fact that she cares about Charmy and is worried about his well being.

If you want more of distant future Sage though, then I can give some of that lol. In this ruined future, the entire world has become encased in plant life, leaving very little room for any man made structures. There are still some man made structures, but they're pretty much all overgrown. At this point, Corpse has morphed into a mindless beast that wanders the world, spreading their vines and all that. Sage is still around, but she's more of a recluse and doesn't really get super involved with fighting against Corpse. She says it's because the plant life interferes with the functionality of her internal systems, but it's also because she's become extremely depressed over what happened to Charmy. She fully blames herself for what happened and not only did she end up causing the end of the world and the fall of the Eggman Empire, she also lost the person she loved before she could even accept the fact that Charmy meant as much to her as she did.

How do you come up with the corpse flower au? I love your design for it esp since you don’t see many Charmy focused horror AUs

It was sort of a trial and error type of thing. I had a few ideas bouncing around my head for quite a long while when it comes to AUs about Charmy, but they never quite stuck with me for one reason or another. One of those ideas did involve Charmy sort of getting possessed by a plant/giving him the ability to control plants which sort of ended up becoming the Whispering Corpse AU.

I think the thing that really made Whispering Corpse stick for me is the fact that I've gotten really attached to Corpse as a character for reasons that I have not revealed quite yet. That and I really do think I cooked with Corpse Charmy's design.

Pretty much, a bunch of ideas I had for a while finally started falling into place in a way where I felt the concept was solid enough to share

Do you believe charmy is a good cook?

I've never really thought about it before, but I kinda like the idea of Charmy being a good cook, at least when he's older. Although I think I lean more towards him being good at baking rather than cooking, but either way he is skilled in the kitchen. Maybe Vanilla thought him which is how he ended up being so good.

May I ask how strong Corpse Charmy is?

Pretty strong. For one, they have Charmy's base strength, which I personally headcanon that when Charmy gets older he becomes REALLY strong, but he's still a little guy so it catches everyone off guard when he's able to carry heavy objects with ease and stuff like that. And also they can fly because again, Charmy can fly.

The thing with Corpse Charmy is that they also can control plants, or at the very least they can control powerful vines that they grow from the ground. They are able to overpower Vector, Espio and Sage at the same time when they first encounter each other, but that could also be because the others were dealing with the shock of seeing Charmy possessed by a plant thing.
