The open ocean was vast and mysterious. It did not care who it hurt, what laid destroyed in its path. People were a lot like oceans it seems; crashing together without a simple thought. Pirate Jo knew this well. The night he crashed upon the island was hazy; as if it had been washed away. The lone pirate, like the water, had to change. Learn how to adapt in a land that did not yet know what it was. Magic was considered nothing but urban legend, he had not known of witches; much less about a witch which struggled with performing magic. The self proclaimed ‘Great Witch Shelby’ was a peculiar individual. Her actions were unusual yet felt so familiar. It unnerved Jo; the feeling of missing something he had never known. The witches comforts were reminiscent of something. Something Jo couldn’t put his finger on. It felt vaguely familial. Which, logically , was absurd. Maybe that old pirates tale about fate was true after all.

LMAO… Isn’t it kind of fucked up how, technically, Pirate Jo just walked in on (one of?) Skeletron’s base and straight up killed all of his crew. No survivors allowed.

It’s so funny to me because, like, the only person Skeletron tried to kill so far was Jo, that guy’s crew-mates were just imprisoned. In places Jo could find them, even. 😭😭😭
