Drew these a few months ago and just forgot. I really need to post things related to the many many aus we have just so the tag links have something and aren't left empty.

Anyway, I randomly got obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean again. I just love ridiculous fantastical settings. So of course I have to mix it with my current fixation. This doesn't take place in POTC exactly but is heavily inspired.

Jonathan reminds me of both Barbossa and Davy Jones, so he is a cursed pirate with a cursed ship. He sails the seas striking fear into the hearts of all he comes across to fulfill his curse, which he doesn't see as much of a curse. He considers it more of a symbiotic relationship between him and his ship, which he has renamed Ashpuddle after his beloved horse.

Ed is still doing Riddler stuff but he isn't specifically the Riddler until after he meets Jo. Ed still makes himself a lot of enemies. He gets purposely trapped in a sinking ship but survives and washes up on the beach of Jonathan's base.

I always headcannon some characters to have similar traits to me so here

Ginny may work on a farm, but she hates flowers. She doesn’t know why they creep her out, just that they do, and she doesn’t like it. Whenever it comes to plucking weeds out, she goes to her brother and asks him to do it. She doesn’t like touching WET flowers especially.

Nathan from the Lollipop Lady’s revenge avoids shellfish like the plague. He doesn’t have any allergies. He’s not particular about food. He just. Doesn’t. Like. Shellfish. Crabs. Crawfish. Shrimp. Lobster. Everytime he has to go to a staff meeting, he puts down seafood allergy (even when he can eat seafood.) the Headmaster got the shock of her life when she saw him eating squid skewers, because she genuinely thought he couldn’t eat any seafood. He was sent to the ER because the headmaster ended up performing an unnecessary Heimlich manoeuvre on him and broke his rib. (You’re not even supposed to use a Heimlich manoeuvre for allergies.) (I hate shellfish, but the Heimlich manoeuvre thing hasn’t happened to me. I did scare my friend half to death when I did eat other seafood in front of her)

Butch, despite presenting more masculine, is a princess when it comes to eating chicken. She likes her chicken boneless and easier to eat because she doesn’t have to keep gnawing at the bone to get it all clean.

Jim and Jamie from Sorry about My Nan can go days without texting and then text each other back a few months later and still talk like best friends.

I said this on my own post, but the Pirates on Rum and Reckoning are all gay, while Lesbians have the island of Lesbos, and Aroace spectrum fellows have the Limbo Squid and their very passionate Musical Accompaniment. Gay men in SFTH just have a pirate ship. Percy and Franklin have a pirate ship, Percy’s rich enough, and Jeremiah and Bubba have a trailer they take around the country after the Coobe incident that they call a pirate ship. It’s decorated to look like a pirate ship. They call it a “Land ship.” Much like the Lesbians on Lesbos have a “Land Shark.” (This has nothing to do with me I just thought it was an introspective look into the SFTH universe.)

old Lady Margeary is that same witch from Rock, Paper Scissors? And also the reason why she asks for phones and secrets is because she takes what she deems is most valuable in the century. Sure. Money can buy a lot of things. But when secrets can just be condemning in a more conservative society, what truly is more valuable than the safety of one’s reputation? Especially to a poor man. Phones in this century are everything, aren’t they? We rely on technology to do most jobs, to connect with others, to keep informed, and they ALSO hold your secrets. She knows secrets are also valuable even in this century.

Lmk Pirate Au - The Misunderstanding - Shadowpeach x Reader

One misunderstanding, words they didn’t know were overheard. A plan ruined and their love gone, not a trace of her would be seen after this. If only they knew the woman they loved was so close by.

“So what is this about your allies newest trade with the Navy?” A young demon asked Captain Sun Wukong who was half drunk on wine.

The room was bustling with excitement from the brotherhood’s latest raid. They had attacked a rather large navy ship and found a lot of treasure including enchanted items from all around the globe. Captain Wukong was so excited he ordered everyone to hold a party in the latest town. His right hand man The Six Eared Macaque had agreed for once.

So here they were in a large bar in a bustling town. The townsfolk had been so fearful of them that they have been avoiding the bar ever since they arrived. The Brotherhood was known for their cruelty and selfish desires. They took what they wanted, when they pleased and didn’t care who it hurt.

The citizens had grown even more fearful when The White Bone Crew had come to the bar later in the evening. Usually they would have immediately started a fight however their captain and her right hand were missing from the bunch. Being in such a good mood The Brotherhood didn’t start a fight but most of them kept their eyes on the other crew.

“Allies?” Wukong asked with a drawl, he was lazing on a large chair his feet kicked over one side as he laid on it. His hat was in one hand while his alcohol was in the other.

“Yes The Pillars, they are your allies are they not? Everyone has been talking about it. How their little artifact keeper has you and your right hand around her finger,” the demon said with a laugh at the end as if he were talking to an old friend.

He didn’t notice how Wukong’s eyes snapped open before narrowing, he almost instantly sobered up. His happily wagging tail slowed down to a threatening lashing to and fro. Slightly baring his fangs he forced a smirk across his face. The White Bone Crew wouldn’t stand a chance against the Brotherhood without their captain however… He didn’t know where that said captain was.

“What on earth are you talking about? Why would we associate with them? They are all weak and pathetic. No one in that crew is suitable enough to even stand against us, let alone with us,” Macaque sneered as he walked up. His violet eyes narrowed dangerously at the demon in front of his mate.

“Yeah, and besides why would we be interested in some weak mortal. We aren't going to have a weakness like that,” Wukong added, every word forced but with how much alcohol was in his system it sounded completely natural.

“Oh but everyone is talking about it. They said that you were so enamored with her that you spared her Captain, The Chaos Master. Is that not true?” The demon asked almost innocently, but Macaque and Wukong saw right through it. The damned demon was paying close attention to their every more. They were trying to find a weakness, too bad he wasn’t going to get one.

“Excuse me? How dare you insinuate that our captain would get with some low wretched whore!” One of the lower ranked demons on the crew shouted. He sealed his fate with those words. Unfortunately he would have to wait.

The demon in front of them looked for some kind of reaction from the two monkey demons but found none. He looked almost disappointed but nodded before lifting a glass to cheer. They didn’t show any interest in the young woman, the rumors must have been just that. Rumors. He would have to add this to his report for his Captain.

“Congratulations. It’s good to know that neither of you have fallen for some whore’s lustful words. I heard that she was willing to leave her crew for you two, I assume that is a rumor too,” The demon added hoping to get a different reaction.

“That stupid mortal wouldn’t do something like that. We don’t even know her, and I’ve heard her loyalties lie solely with her captain,” Wukong growled barely containing the excitement that coursed through him at the thought of their beloved Reader coming to him and Macaque willingly. Oh but that would never happen.

“Agreed. She would only be met with our blades. We do not accept the weak into our crew,” Macaque for his part also had a hard time controlling himself. The mere thought of having their darling coming to them was amazing. However they knew that would never happen, her loyalty to her Captain ran too deep. They were going to have to take more extreme measures, but that came all in due time. There was a plan laid out and they would follow through with that plan.

Their words seemed to convince the demon who soon scampered off with the rest of his crew an hour later. The bar went silent for a while, the higher ups of The Brotherhood Crew took steps away from the monkey demons. They knew not to insult Reader, however the demon who spoke ill about her didn’t seem to.

Dark shadows began to dance around the room, Macaque releasing a deadly aura but waited for his mate to get up. Wukong took another swig from his bottle his eyes glowing red as he swung his legs to sit up. His normally happy wagging tail was slowly swaying behind him as he smirked.

“No one insults our beloved, have you not realized that yet?” Wukong spoke every word dripping with venom.

“W-What but you just said…” The demon cowered.

“I know exactly what I said, do you not understand that we cannot be by her side to protect her. Do you not understand that we cannot let people know about her until we have her with us,” Macaque cut in his shadows wrapped around the demon holding him in place as he held himself back in favor of letting his king have his ‘fun.’

“You called our love a whore, our darling, our Reader ~” Wukong’s snarl turned into a love struck look as he finally let himself think about you.

“I-I understand, I won’t make the same mistake again,” The demon stuttered praying that he would make it out of this alive.

“Oh, we know~” The monkey demon’s purred in unison.

The next sounds that came were screams. It was good that Reader wasn't with them because she wouldn't approve. There is no way she would approve of the fresh blood staining their claws and the ground.

Unfortunately, they never got the chance to even catch sight of Reader again. Their blades? They would kill you if you tried to go to them. They wanted you dead. Tears flooded your eyes as you ran away, you thanked the artifacts you carried which allowed you to travel with absolute silence. Not even Macaque’s ears could catch you unless he saw you, even then he had a hard time doing so.

You had heard that they had come to this bar and while you didn’t like drinking yourself, you were ecstatic to see your friends again. Who you thought were your friends, you had thought they were more than friends in fact. A sob threatened to bubble it’s way through your throat.

As soon as the demon stopped talking about you and changed the topic you took the chance to run. Having been hiding in one of the hallways you had wanted to surprise them when you overheard the demon begin talking about allies. You had been so happy wanting to hear their thoughts about you, however your joy was soon crushed at their every word.

You barely made it out of town when you crumpled to the ground below a nearby tree. Your glossy eyes finally letting your tears fall. You had been so excited when your Captain granted you permission to leave, you had been so happy this past month as you followed their trail, and now? You couldn’t stop yourself from curling in on yourself on the ground crying. They hated you, they actually hated you.

Your breathing was heavy, your eyes burned, and your throat choked up as you cried. But as much as you tried you couldn’t stop.

Having gone further inland you knew that they wouldn’t encounter you as they would soon be leaving for their next adventure. An adventure you had hoped to join. Choking on another sob you thought about all of their happy memories, they were all fake. They hated you, they didn’t want to be by your side or anywhere near you. They’d rather kill you.

No! You wouldn’t allow yourself to be killed, not even by them. Taking a deep and shaky breath you tried to calm down. It didn’t help much, and you still wasn’t able to stand yet but it was a start. You needed to get out of here, you weren’t a pirate anymore you were just a normal woman. One who needed to get to safety before someone found you.

“I’m alone, truly alone,” you barely muttered when you finally got up to move hours later, in the middle of the night.

I finally started rewriting one of my old aus! My Pirate AU!! This one is near identical to the original chapter but I can’t promise they will all be.

Pirates! Chicken Run, Creature Comforts and more!

I always forget how big some of the sets and set pieces have to be to capture those little details. The pirate ship is absolutely massive (again apologies for my camera skills)!

We have Morph being the first model we come across, our Pirate Captain hanging out with Norbot, and I nearly missed Darwin's airship hanging out above our heads near a fire exit.

Funland Farms set was fun to see (though wish Mrs Tweedy was there too!)

Shaun and co cropping up now and then of course (I think that might be Victor's face there too).

We had a few Robin Robin characters on set too, the cat and Robin herself popping up in several spots, as well this little display that let you listen to the music to guess which tune belongs to which character (proving I need to do another rewatch, I only guessed the Cat correctly 😂)

But admittedly I loved seeing this set the best, especially with the little video explaining how the video effects helped make it look even more incredible in the movie itself.

I'm torn between either doing another set piece blog (but I feel I might be running out on good photos there) or showing some of the concept arts and doodles next - I also don't want to show everything, just so people who can go don't have everything spoiled 😅.

What does everyone think? More things or is this a good stopping point?
