Gorumaku Pirate AU?

I need to stop getting distracted and having more ideas for fanfics, so I can finish the thing I'm SUPPOSED to be writing right now.

Anyway, so I had the idea that Gold Ship would make an excellent pirate...

Despite seeming unpredictable and random, Gold Ship goes back to fish, the sea, and adventure as a topic frequently. Obviously, she was a pirate in another life, no?

A pirate with a mysterious backstory... one with an unquenchable thirst for wonder and adventure that puts her into countless harrowing and fantastical situations! And yet--! She always manages to just barely clutch victory. Dodging arrest from the Navy, eluding the cold grasp of the Reaper! Uncovering unbelievable legends and treasures! And so dashing is she in all of this! Oh, what a charming scoundrel!

And there! The fair maiden, Mejiro McQueen, of noble lineage! Her grace and distinction known to all... Through some bizarre happenstance, she is roped into the uncouth and outlandish Gold Ship's adventures across the sea! Yet she is not so delicate as her station may lead one to think... for McQueen, the determined lass that she is, fearlessly rises to each new challenge!

Is this all very generic? Yes. Counterpoint: I like pirateslop.

And for other characters, let's get Symboli Rudolf as the top Navy bigwig who sends Tokai Teio out to arrest Gold Ship and rescue McQueen to make it even MORE generic.

And THEN, let's have Sirius Symboli be an ex-Navy-turned-pirate because I need that.

AND--! if we're feeling crazy with it, maybe the whole Gold Clan is Gold Ship's crew? Eh? I dunno. Think about it.

Yeah. So. Someone should get on with realizing this vision.
