The Walking Medical Mystery
If you've kept up with my blog, you already know that doctors have been trying to figure out what was wrong with me for 14 months.
Well, turns out, it was my hip all along! I had something called piriformis syndrome, where my piriformis muscle in my hip was completely constricting my sciatic nerve, sending pain signals all down my left side. Evidently, it's pretty rare, hence the long period of time before we reached a diagnosis.
I had surgery on the 6th of July and am still recovering and am in physical therapy. Thank goodness for pain pills!
Let's pray this fixes things! I'm ready to get back to exercising!
