So I have something cool to share with you guys. A cute little motif I made up a few days ago! It’s only two rounds; super simple! I’m calling it pirozhok bc it looks like one 😂
I am using a G hook, worsted weight yarn, and US terms.
Pattern:
Round 1: start with a magic ring. In center, ch 5 (counts as tr + ch1). In center, (tr + ch1) 15 times. Join with sl st in 4th ch, pull ring closed. You’ll have 16 (tr + ch1).
Round 2: sl st into next ch1 space. Ch3 (counts as first dc). 2dc in same ch1 space. *In next ch1space: 2tr, ch3. In 2nd ch from hook, sc. in next ch, hdc. (Left pic below shows up to this point). 2tr in same ch1 space. 3dc in next 3 ch1 spaces. 4dc in next ch1 space. 3dc in next 3ch1 spaces* repeat from *to* once more, omitting the last 3dc (because you already completed them to start with).
Join with sl st in 3rd ch. Fasten off and you’re done! In a few days I will post the tutorial on how I’m gonna join them. Happy crocheting! 🧶
