I have a proposition
The cast as follows:
Aerrow as Rapunzel Piper as Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert Dark Ace as Mother Gothel Radarr as Pascal Finn, Junko, and Stork can be added as Piper's friends/partners-in-crime The Murk Raiders as the Snuggly Duckling thugs Snipe and Ravess as the Stabington Brothers (rivals against Piper and her crew) As for Rapunzel's parents, I'd like to add in Lightning Strike and Aerrow's mother The Colonel as Maximus (just evil and desperate for a promotion)
Now let's begin...
Let's say Aerrow was born with a flower's ability to heal the sick and injured to a King and Queen--think Lightning Strike and Aerrow's mother
But Gothel--Dark Ace or anyone else, for that matter--who wants the flower's ability to stay young forever, kidnaps Aerrow as a baby and hides him away in a tower to use his hair that grows to 80 feet long to stay young. 14 to 18 years pass, and Aerrow wants to see the lanterns that appear every year on his birthday
Enter Piper, in the place of Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert
And do you know how Piper's name was supposed to be Oriole before they changed it? What if she uses it as some sort of Flynn Rider identity before she reveals her real name?
In the movie, there was something about Eugene using this Flynn Rider identity from the books he read as a kid, so he decided to use that during his days as a thief. So basically, Piper reads about this Oriole Skywind (I had to use this fantasynamegenerators.com for that) and decides to take on this identity before she and the team she met as a kid leave the orphanage
Piper is separated from the team during the chase after they had stolen the Prince's crown, and she uses herself as a decoy with the satchel to let the others get away safely from the guards
The movie starts off the same way, just with the Storm Hawks added as Flynn/Eugene's friends.
Aerrow makes a deal with Piper to take him to see the lanterns in exchange for the satchel that contains the Prince's crown back
The movie continues, with the Murk Raiders as the Snuggly Duckly thugs and Snipe and Ravess as the Stabbington brothers after Piper to get the crown
Piper, Aerrow, and Radarr, after they escape with the help of the Murk Raiders and narrowly avoid being drowned after the cavern they were in was flooded, manage to catch up with the rest of the team
Now this is the moment where Piper reveals her true name to Aerrow.
"This is all my fault. He was right. I never should have left the tower," Aerrow tearfully says in defeat after they tried and failed to get out. "…I'm so sorry, Oriole." "…Piper." "…What?" He looks up at her. "My real name is Piper Heartrun. Figured someone might know about it," Piper admits truthfully and beams softly
After Aerrow and Piper spend a night around the fire and telling each other a bit more about themselves (with Dark Ace trying to manipulate Aerrow to come back to the tower with him as bonus), the rest of the team comes in, just as Snipe, the egotistical and all-too-proud a-hole he is, tries to take Piper as revenge for leaving him and Ravess to be arrested, and saves her, Aerrow, and Radarr. That's before they do get to the kingdom later so they can help Aerrow see the lanterns
Aerrow, Piper, Radarr, and the Storm Hawks soon make it to the kingdom, and…well, you know how it goes
In terms of the royal family, I'd like to think that Lightning Strike and Aerrow's mother had tried to save Aerrow when Dark Ace took him as a baby, but the latter killed them so they wouldn't try to stop him. That's why they had Arygyn (or one or three of the guardians from the 'Origins' episode) watch over the kingdom as they release the lanterns for Aerrow's birthday every year and keep watch over the kingdom until Aerrow is old enough to rule one day
Meanwhile, there is also a prophecy where the new Storm Hawks would form one day, as well as the mural of the late Lightning Strike and Aerrow's mother with him as a baby in the center of the village, which he notices at one point before the kingdom dance
Anyways, onto the climax
Aerrow finds out he's the lost Prince and confronts Dark Ace before they engage in a fierce battle
Piper, meanwhile, breaks out with the Storm Hawks and Murk Raiders' help and races to the tower with Radarr and the others not too far behind her
Just when she gets there, Dark Ace is ready to take away Aerrow and imprison him somewhere else for life. Piper charges in…
…and sends a blast of energy at him, a crystal in her hand. It is revealed that she has the power to imbue the power of said crystal within Aerrow, known as the Binding. With the strength of his power, Piper and Aerrow come into "perfect attunement" and fight off Dark Ace together
However, Dark Ace, albeit weak from the battle, throws a knife at her, halting the Binding and preventing them from progressing further. With the last bit of her strength, Piper cuts off Aerrow's hair, turning Dark Ace back to his old age and turning him to dust as he falls off the tower after Radarr trips him with the cut hair.
Aerrow desperately and tearfully tries to heal Piper with his cut hair, but it is no good. Piper tells him that "he's her new dream."
"And you are mine," Aerrow replies, heartbroken.
Aerrow sings the lullaby that is used to make the magic flower's powers work as he holds a lifeless Piper in his arms, and a single tear falls from his eye and onto her cheek…
…as the tear disappears, it faintly glows in the form of a bloom.
The last bit of Aerrow's power heals Piper's injury and brings her back to life
The ending ends the same way, the Murk Raiders finally get their dreams realized, and the Storm Hawks are now together
