So I have this headcannon that Carlos and Harry USED to be a thing, but they broke up (the reason is up to you), and Carlos wants to forget about the whole thing, but Harry won't let him
- Carlos had reminded Harry a lot of Uma. Somebody that had always been so easily overlooked, but held a lot more potential and power than anyone would have originally assumed. Someone that shoulda be wasting all of that potential on a island prison full of horrible people, yet they managed to survive anyways.
- With all of the Isle children having their own share of parent problems, it's not too shocking to say that they related to eachother a lot. Both having their own cruel parent who have never batted an eye their way.
- Carlos did stop by Ursala's restaurant quite often to visit Harry, and even though Uma's crew never had problem with him, he just felt a bit out of place.
- While Mal and Jay were 1000% not happy with him hanging out with Harry (and Uma), Evie was someone who knew a lot about love. Though she knew from the start that they wouldn't end up together, she did know that there's no harm in a couple flings, as well as figuring that this might be the push Jay needs for finally realizing his obvious feelings for Carlos.
- It did become obvious in the end that even if they got along so well, they each couldn't help the guilty feeling of knowing that they both had a flutter in their chest when with other people. For example, the way that Harry looked at Uma as if she was the stars, moon, and entire universe in the form of a single being, or the way Carlos's eyes gleamed with admiration whenever he was in the same room with Jay.
- They didn't end their relationship on bad terms at all. Maybe in another time things would have been different.
- Even if there isn't any real hard feelings, Harry is extra af and cent help but toss a smirk and a wink as a reminder for the old days. (Which, Harry may add, it totally doesn't have anything to do with how hilariously jealous Jay gets whenever he does so)
