Generation Z

Okay, I have had enough about opinions on my generation.

First off Gen Z begins in 1997-99 we are children born close to and after the new millenium. We are not millennials, they are different.

Secondly, Gen Z are not “Held hostage by traditional gender roles.” As one article put it, in fact Gen Z is the most likely generation to rebel against traditional gender roles.

Third, the millennials that claim to be Gen Z ‘cause they were born in 1990-94 PLEASE GOD STOP we keep getting blame for the dicks that go out on TV spouting nonsense about how “All Gen Zs like this or that or the other.” It pisses me off, Gen Z is the first generation with a ginormous internet-based safety net telling them to explore their unique interests from a young age. We are growing up when nerdy is cool. The “They care so much about fashion” is 90% bullshit.

so like Love’s Labour’s Lost is a really good show, but Young Men pisses me the fuck off. I mean I get that it’s integral to his character and the story but I think what’s genuinely concerning is that there are boys who think this is life. It’s damn catchy too, and that sucks because I don’t want to sing along :/

it bothers me that in gintama takasugi and tsukuyo are of the same height, because look at tsukuyo - she wears heels. she would tower above takasugi, and, she would be as tall as gin in heels. and yet when sorachi or the anime staff draws takasugi standing next to gintoki, takasugi’s only a little bit shorter than gin, but tsukuyo, in all her heeled glory, would end up being drawn a lot shorter than gin. wtf. you want her to be shorter, then you just make her 160cm fgs why did you make her 170cm. if you made her 170cm please draw her right! >:(

I'm in Times Square with my family and there's really TOO MANY PEOPLE AND TOO MANY LIGHTS for me to be anything but uncomfortable and on edge and I really would just like to leave and never come back but they all love sitting around staring at giant advertisements apparently
