I don't know if this can interest you but I was watching some Snape clips on YT in Italian (bacause I couldn't remember what he sounded like in my own language) and I thought... Is this the kind of voice fafodill was talking about in her hcs? It still sounds silky and nasal but also, it sounds somewhat younger than Rickman's voice. Idk but if you try to search "harry potter Piton" on YouTube you can hear it yourself.

So you absolutely piqued my interest and I rushed to YouTube.

First of all I will be transparent and admit that I went 🤌🤌🤌 immediately upon hearing him (I know it's such a cliché but we do that a lot in France upon hearing Italian)(and I don't know if you guys find it offensive, if so I'm super sorry).

It's not nasal enough for my taste! The thing is, the voice suits Rickman (and I agree that it makes him sound younger) but I guess the voice I'm imagining belongs to a scrawny guy, y'know?

But now it makes me want to hear him in different languages.
