Ducculent, The Cactus Water Pokémon
The name is a combination of duck and succulent.
Type - Grass/Water Height - 1'10" Weight - 8 lbs. Ability - Swift Swim/Water Absorb (Hidden Ability: Regenerate) Pokédex Entry - For decades, researchers weren't sure where these Pokémon came from. They seemed to just sprout up from the ground. It was later discovered that Quactus bury their eggs to protect them from predators.
So this Pokémon is a pre-evolved form of one that my friend told me I had to make when I first started working on this project.
I originally was going to make the shiny yellow like the giant rubber ducky that visited Pittsburgh a few years ago, but decided to make it a fun pink because succulents that are stressed will often turn bright and interesting colors... like pink and purple.
anyone from Pittsburgh?
Hey :) I just wanted to ask if any of my followers are coincidentally from Pittsburgh? (maybe even someone planning to go to Katz graduate business school?) I’d love to get to know people from there before going abroad next fall term :) (Note: YES I finally made it! I’m going abroad as I’ve been wanting to since 8th grade - I honestly still can’t believe it! I’m so happy to finally spend some time in the US!) I’ll soon start posting about preparation and the time there on instagram (@nataschasjourney)
Congrats to the Pittsburgh Penguins for their 2nd year in a row Stanley Cup win. One of us is a Penguins fan (obviously) the other is so not (GO BRUINS) but we support each other. #stanleycup #finals #pittburgh #penguins #nhl #hockeyplayoffs #sports #sportsarelife #onelove #boston #bruins #crosby #theOLLAanciaAdventures #relationshipgoals (at Secret Garden SM)
Day 28- Foreworm, The Foresight Pokémon The name is derived from the words forewarn and worm. Type - Psychic/Bug Height - 1"3' Weight - 12 lbs. Ability - Compound Eye/Tinted Lens (Hidden: Swarm) Pokédex Entry - As Foreworm prepare to evolve, they build protective walls around themselves made of sticky silk and leaves. It is said that they spell out hidden predictions with this silk along the inside of these structures.
This Pokémon evolutionary line is based on a famous American cryptid... Can you guess which one?
Day 28- Fanglet, The Rattle Snake Pokémon The name is derived from the word fang and the suffix let which means small. Type - Poison/Ground Height - 2"6' Weight - 15 lbs. Ability - Shed Skin/Corrosive (Hidden: Unnerve) Pokédex Entry - This Pokémon can actually be more dangerous than its evolution because it cannot yet control the amount of poison that it release when it strikes.
Day 6- Inferoon, The Ring Tail Pokémon The name is derived from inferno and raccoon. Type - Fire Height - 3'9" Weight - 35 lbs. Ability - Flame Body/Flash Fire (Hidden: Drought) Pokédex Entry - Inferoon are very curious in nature. This curiosity often gets them into mischief.
