War rooms deciding the fate of counties were considered less tense than the small tea table prepared currently in front of Sandy.

Across from his seat, rigidly sat the spider queen who stared at him with slitted eyes. if Sandy was wearing a shirt he would be tugging at his collar sweating under the heat of her gaze.

"So uh. What can I help you with?" Sandy fumbles out, she had shown up suddenly and he wasn't sure how to navigate this odd behavior outside of making tea.

He had a hunch of why she was here though. The spider clan had halted its attempt to take over the city making it easy for Huntsman and him to come forward with their secret relationship.

"I was in the neighborhood." She responds by looking over the time of her teacup coolly.

"I see." Sandy takes an awkward sip of his tea trying to fill the silence around them.

"Have you slept with Huntsman yet?" She asked, suddenly making him choke on his own tea. Almost doing a spit take.

"Excuse me?" He wheezes out patting his chest and she slams down her teacup suddenly.

"Don't play dumb. What are your plans for him??" She hisses out, fangs slowly poking out of her lips as she speaks. "Do you plan to bed him? Then throw him away? I will not allow some inferior demon to date him if they are not serious."

She slams her hand on the counter to cement her point and make him flinch under her commands. She wasn't just a queen in the title after all.

"I'm very serious about him!" Sandy defended, skirting under her molton gaze that burned him.

"Oh really?" She scoffs in disbelief. Looking down at him from her nose.

"How many grandkids will you be giving me? Will he move into your home? Or will you live in his? When will you be officially mates?!" She demanded with another slam to the table the china set clattering and shaking under her force.

"If you're serious about him you will have answers for all of these because you would be thinking of them!!" She shouts a string of hair falling into her face as her chest heaves from labored breathing.

Something clicks in Sandy's head suddenly.

"You're his mother." He states quietly instead of answering her barrage of questions. Her eyes widen and she slumps back into her seat, rubbing her temples with a scowl.

"I'm not his mother ... .but I'm the closest thing he has to one." She regards Sandy with cold eyes that rove over him like she is weighing him in her mind, determining if he was worth knowing this information.

"Huntsman's parents perished in a raid on our home. Some demon hunters stumbled upon our nest years ago and slaughtered many of our kind. Huntsy was just a child then. Parents gutted right in front of him" she frowns, claws digging into the table as she talks

"We managed to fight off the hunters…but the cost was great." She finished taking her teacup and sipping it slowly. "I found him in the ruins. Covered in his parent's blood and with eyes that burned with more hatred than I have ever seen in my lifetime."

She sets the cup down with a clink and lets out a sigh, the queen slumps forward with a humorless chuckle.

"But I haven't seen that anger or hatred in his eyes for a while. Even before you guys came out to me I could tell something was different inside him." She smiles a little, her eye looking at something Sandy couldn't see. But then it hardens and she pins him in place with those same striking green eyes.

"He's happy. He loves you…And I don't want him to lose whatever happiness he's built for himself if you don't feel the same." She sighs and pinches her brow letting out a long pause before either of them speaks again.

"Er…we were hoping to have your blessing before I had him move in with me," Sandy speaks suddenly, making the queen's head snap upward at him.

"We are taking it slow. So we aren't officially mates…but we have discussed it. And other serious things too." Sandy explains, carefully reaching forward to clean up the sugar bowl that had fallen to the side when she had snapped the table.

"We talked about long-term goals, dreams, living arrangements…ahem potential kids." He feels his face redden at the last one mentioned as he sets the sugar bowl upright and dusts his hands off the stray grains of sugar.

He sits back down and places his palms flat against the table before her. He bows his head slightly.

"I'm very serious about him…. Please allow me to continue to court your son." Sandy feels sweat break out across his neck at the prolonged silence. He thinks maybe she will deny him this. He prays she won't. He couldn't bear having to make Huntsman choose between his loyalties or him.

Another few beats pass before he hears her slump back into her chair with an exaggerated sigh.

"God. Your so fucking genuine it's almost annoying…no wonder he likes you." A smile quirks up on her face slightly and Sandy feels something in his chest tighten.

The queen leans forward a little her face serious again.

"You have my blessing. But if you hurt him. I WILL string you up, inject you with a bit of venom, let your insides digest slowly, and drink your organs through a straw. Understand?"

Sandy swallows. He knows this isn't a threat. It's a promise from a queen. He nods quickly when he realizes she's waiting for him to reply. She smiles wildly and giggles like they were discussing a bit of gossip instead of exchanging threats.

"Now! Huntsman won't stop talking about these little mint cookies you have. Be a dear and get me some for my tea." And she switches just like a light. She lifts her cup up delicately and takes a sip waiting for him to sever her. For some reason, he feels like he's passed a test.

"I heard Queenie came by" Huntsman speaks suddenly, startling Sandy much later that night when he thinks he's alone. Huntsman has this bad habit of sneaking up on him and watching him silently for a few minutes before announcing his presence to the water demon. He secretly suspected Huntsman was checking out his ass when he wasn't paying attention.

He places a hand to his chest and watches the short spider smirk. The bastard knew what he was doing.

"You know you can text me before you come over so I know you're coming," Sandy expresses. Picking up the knitted blankets he was folding up and tossed or over the sofa from the tidying up he was doing.

"I much rather keep you on your toes," Huntsman speaks with a smirk, gravitating toward him till Sandy can wrap his arms around his boyfriend. Sandy puts his large hands around their hips and he hears the spider demon purs out his approval to the action.

"I don't know what you said to her, but she won't shut up about you." Huntsman almost seems jealous and Sandy has to fix that. He tilts their chin up and places a soft kiss on his boyfriend's lips.

"Don't worry. You're the only one I got my eyes on." He reassured his lover softly between little butterfly kisses that had them melting in his grip.

"I better be~" Huntsman teases standing on his tippy toes and demanding more attention. Sandy easily gives it to him, lavishing kisses and nibbles to his lips and neck of the smaller demon till they are just a sighing moaning mess under him.

Sandy pulls away after a few minutes of this leaving Huntsman a blushing purring mess.

"Movie night?" Sandy offers his boyfriend since they are already here. Huntsman hums, his hands running over his wide chest teasingly.

"Only if I can use you as a pillow." They demand with a sniff. Sandy picks them up suddenly, making Huntsman let out a squeak that's quickly covered with a huff.

"I think that can be arranged~" he teases, kissing their neck softly. Warmth spreads in his chest knowing his whole wrong was in his arms. And they finally had the blessing of Huntsman's queen to properly plan their future together.

Remember that one theory that Red Son is actually the little brother of Red Boy? What would happen if a universe where that was the case came to the battle Nexus? Oh yes I remember seeing that theory floating around! Usually at the Battle Nexus there is just one of each of them per universe, so it would definitely pique some interest to see two Red Sons show up from the same universe, especially since they look so different... I think the OG Red Boy would be, like, the calmest Red they've ever seen. He's still a servant to Guanyin back in his universe, so he's really not interested in all this fighting going on. He's only there to keep an eye on his younger brother who, everyone realizes, is like 75% more gremlin than usual. This Red Son has his daddy issues turned up to 11 here.. mostly to do with the constant comparisons to his older brother and feeling like he has to live up to his expectations but ALSO be his replacement.. it's very awkward. Red Son is kind of cold to Red Boy, maybe even unconsciously. And he probably even goes around picking fights so he can prove how awesome and strong he is.. AND he's definitely suppressing whatever feelings he has for MK too. He needs to be the perfect son, after all, and what would his father say about him fraternizing with the little thief?? ...basically, once they get a taste of the pair, nobody really likes them lol

It was a Tuesday afternoon when Huntsman pulled the Queen aside to tell her the news. She was happy he found someone he loved and all but she was mad she couldn't takeover the world.

When he came to visit and she automatically sense something was off. Like he was glowing somewhat.

"I have some exciting news" Huntsman said as he was somewhat jumping in place. The queen raised a brow curious what had him so excited.

"I'm listening what is it Huntsman" She said as she crossed her arms.

"I'm pregnant" Huntsman said excitedly as the queen gasp and covered her mouth in a happy surprise.

"congratulations my dear!" Queen said a smile," have you told him yet? Do you know how far you are?"

"about 8 weeks and no I'm planning to tell him on his birthday. I believe it be a great surprise" Huntsman said joyfully. It was nice to see one of her subjects so happy," you're actually the first person I've told my Queen."

"Thank you for giving me that honor Huntsman. I'm happy to hear about a future subject" She said as she gave him a hug. It was a real honor to know she was the first person he'd told. She was sure his partner love the surprise.

The months seemed to fly by as the queen sat in her stooper. What was she to do really all she had was her subjects and no kingdom thanks to that bloody treaty she'd made with the monkey kid after he'd saved her from the lady bone demon.

As she sat there in her room she received a call from Sandy. Which caught her attention, was it about her subject or a simple hello? He did that sometimes, he'd call to check and sometimes send pictures of his felines. Weird man her subject had chosen to love indeed.

"Hello Sandy what I owe the pleasure?"The Queen asked as she answered the phone and checked her nails.

"Hello! Huntsman wanted me to inform you our baby girl will be with us soon!" The man said cheerfully as he turned to Huntsy who's back he was rubbing," I will try to keep you updated when I can!"

"Oh why thank you Sandy, tell Huntsman I wish him good luck." The spider Queen said as she got up and checked her calendar. The little one was early. She wasn't supposed to be arrive for three more weeks," thank you for informing me. I am sure you have other people to inform."

"I do, and I will let him know. I'll call you later with updates. Have a good day!" The jolly man said before he hung up. Oh dear, hopefully they'd both be alright. She'd have to change her schedule so she could finish the little one's blanket and reschedule their blessing ceremony. Syntax's ceremony hadn't been the best, Goliath had injured him on accident so certain things had been put in place for no repeats.

It wasn't every day she got a new subject after all. The others also had to be alerted. Oh dear she had much to do.

She found herself pacing afterwards as she'd had everything done. It had been hours was Huntsman and the child alright? Had there been complications? She didn't know and it worried her.

She soon received a ding to her phone and discovered she'd receive a photo from Sandy.

Oh my goodness, the little girl was adorable. Even though she clearly took more after Sandy than her Baba. Also a big baby girl at that, a whole ten pounds from what the text read. Thankfully Huntsman was alright though clearly exhausted from what she could see in the photo.

Hopefully the twos next child wouldn't leave him as strained. She couldn't have Huntsman get to exhausted now could she?

"Here you go my queen, this is little Crystal." Huntsman said as he handed the babe to her. The baby gurgled and looked up at her with those beautiful green eyes and her heart absolutely melted. Such a gorgeous little lady laid in her arms.

"you've done a good. She is absolutely lovely darling" The Queen said as she rubbed the baby's cheek," Yes a lovely subject indeed"

She'd never admit it but she absolutely whole heartedly loved this little child. She couldn't wait to see how the little one grow.
