I just finished my pixel stitch tapestry of the zelda 1 title screen. Technically this is 1/4 the size of the title screen (ignoring everything outside of the leaves) since I had to cut the height and width in half to make the project manageable

Pixel Stitch Glaceon (the true cross stitch quality pillow)

Hi there! So heres a lil project ive worked on recently, using a new stitch to make some very neat squares. The design tessalates with itself or other patterns in the same vein, and honestly it just feels great.

Pixel Art?

I saw a post somewhere the other day calling cross stitch "nothing more than pixel art". I was kind of offended by the phrasing. Cross stitching has been around long before the word "pixel" was ever a thing. But I get what they were trying to say, because there are similarities. Maybe we need to change cross stitch to pixel stitch to be current.

I took a few months off from stitching, but I am back and ready to complete this project once and for all! Brook is the last border to be filled, but maybe if there are ever a few more Straw Hats I will have to stitch some more borders 👀

The Pusheen stitch kit was my gateway. So when the pixel stitch discord had a color swap quest- I could think of nothing more appropriate then color swapping it. So here is my Pastel Pusheen pattern done on 32ct gingham even weave...I think that's what its called.

Pokemon Red&Blue

The Two sides, side by side! Both are 80x80 stitches across, roughly 3600 stitches each. Took the better part of 3 weeks each; so 6 weeks total.

Yarn used: Hayfield bonus chunky of various colours in 6mm hooks.

Using a ladder stitch to join the two, now to aquire filling!

Took a fair while, but its done! Now to join it with the Glaceon Pillow side and make a cushion!
