25. Video game you wish you could burn from your memory?
This is difficult. I think I may have already done this for whatever game might have filled this slot. Maybe Runescape, because when I think of it, I think of all the really embarrassing mistakes and teen stuff I thought was good or cool back then. (Following a guy out into the wildy at his behest and then promptly getting demolished and my stuff stolen.) It still has a lot of good memories though, so maybe surgical burning.
Another game I might go for burning out of my memory might be Darksiders 2. I wanted that game to be good so very badly. The first one was rough, but it was a fun game! So I was pumped to see a second one coming out and hopefully with more polish that had started to show later into the first game!
However, the entire snafoo with THQ going under forced the game to be released early and it started off alright, but just felt so much more hollow than it could have been past the midway point. I literally beat the game, and just sat there wondering if it was just a cutscene, because the final boss fight was probably one of the easiest boss fights I’d encountered the whole game. So I guess I’d probably rather it get burned out so I can just be left with the hope of a good game rather than what we actually got.
