He could probably hear her face light up with interest at the mention of his gift—and promptly go the opposite direction when learning what he actually meant. "... Oh..." Grace meekly replied, rubbing the back of her neck. She felt bad for bringing that up. "Uh... Yeah, I'll, take it off your hands, then..."
So not only was there a pillager's outpost nearby, it's been abandoned for a very long time... Maybe she shouldn't stick around this region for long. But what about Geode? He seems to be well enough living down here, but she still worried about his well-being.
Grace searched the barrels a bit more until her curiosity was satisfied, leaving only the trident added to her inventory. But something's still bothering her. "Mm... You said the tools you have are too small for you, right...?" she said carefully, "Um, I think I could make some big enough for ya. If you'd like?"
Geode thought about all the things he could do with right-sized tools. He had no need for weapons, since his claws and sonic shriek still got the job done in his old age. However, something to garden would make his life SO much easier.
"Well…I feel bad asking," Geode began slowly, "A hoe and a shovel would cut my gardening time in half. Ohh I could grow so much more."
Carrots, beets, potatoes, and fresh bread… Especially after the recent ransacking his garden went through, this would be so helpful.
The shovel would help with gathering sand, so more sugar cane was a possibility, too.
