imagine if the white pen of hope is chalk

it probably is actually because it's a white writing utensil that susie would have in her possession

imagine during the final battle with the Neverending Knight or something it lands a powerful blow on susie, sends her flying back. she starts coughing a lot and everyone thinks she's dying or something but she just. hacks up the piece of chalk she had in her stomach this entire time and it transforms into the white pen of hope

new deltarune theory: what does the bird say

when you think about it, a lot more characters make sounds other than their normal voice sound effect in deltarune compared to undertale. in ut, im pretty sure it's only mettaton. meanwhile, in dr, it's all the main bosses, all the secret bosses and the knight (which all laugh) susie, lancer, ralsei, noelle, and rudy.

(there may be more but i don't remember :P)

now... the only "important" characters i can think of that don't do this are Kris and Beurgerly (burgly. bungrly. berdly)

this not only pushes the Kerdly Agenda™️but also may be important to the story of deltarune. or maybe it's simply a coincidence. who knows what that dog dreamt

also i just realized Kris, Susie, Noelle, and Berdly all have alt spellings of their names that sound, verbally, the same. Chris, Suzy, Noel, and Birdly. (wow writing those out actually felt a little cursed) (also Ralsei i guess has his debate on if it's ral-SEE or ral-SAY.) we know Seam knows that we're reading their words and not hearing them because of the joke they made in chapter 1.

Perhaps the prophecy actually meant two OTHER random people named Chris and Suzy and not our Kris and Susie and Ralsei screwed up bad. this would mean Ralsei actually hasn't seen Kris and Susie's names written down (plausible), and that the prophecy wasn't written down either- either someone told him and he doesn't remember or it was astral projected into his brain

anyway this is just some more stuff i thought was interesting ^_^ sorry i don't really know how to organize it all lol

now that i think abt it it's interesting that chapter 5 is fire/nature themed (emphasis on the fire part) since all the chapters have been based on a zone in undertale. and following the pattern, chapter 5 should be snowdin which is mostly known for snow and the lack of plants other than the trees... cant think of any other motifs snowdin has other than snow and papyrus (and it would be CRAZY if papyrus finally appeared in chap 5! kinda unlikely tho)

also now that i think about it it makes sense undyne first entered the dark world in chap 3 because it copies hot land. undyne is there for a second, you save her (or dont) with the watercooler, and then she leaves

undyne was there for a second, got taken by RK, and then she was gone

i think that the weird route is gonna end the exact same way as the normal route but you just mentally tortured noelle and kris (plus ralsei sort of) and potentially killed berdly needlessly

like Noelle realizes she's strong in the normal route without our "assistance", so maybe if there's some kind of final boss she needs to beat she'd be strong enough to whether we "helped" or not

yooo. wait what if we have to fight and destroy all of the seven flowers in asgores shop in chapter 5

because. they. have vines blocking the fountain or asgore or something like that

delta = change, triangle, one river splitting over and over into a bunch of smaller rivers

rune = ancient letters/words (from the roman alphabet)

deltarune = change the ancient texts

also:

if a rune is a letter, and you write letters with writing utensils, then perhaps the White Pen of Hope can literally rewrite the prophecy

I'VE HAD A REVELATION

theory: the way.... the way ralsei can travel through dark worlds.... he can travel through the shadows (either specifically lightner shadows or just all shadows) .... it makes sense because he is also figuratively is in kris and susie's shadow!!!

it honestly reminds me of how flowey secretly traverses the underground to watch us by traveling through the ground... huh
