1. When you meet me, wear sunglasses. I'll illuminate the room and you won't ever see me the same way again. I don't mean to do this. I don't mean to burn into your corneas and leave you blinded. You are the moth, I am a ball of glowing energy.

2. This energy will get tiring, not because you can't keep up, but eventually because you won't want to. What started out as outgoing and full of life exposes itself to be something aggressive and raw. I am a painting where from far away the acrylics are a composed portrait, but come closer, and you'll see nothing but angry brush strokes- detail lost beneath a wave of texture and emotion.

3. This is the first time you discover that the light inside my eyes are forest fires. And that the fire that's inside of me can burn.

4. The fire inside of me will burn.

It’s late at night and I can’t get you out of my head. The knots in my stomach are still bound nicely and the ache in my chest is just as familiar as it’s been. I’ve gotten better at ignoring it but it’s still there. I wonder if things will be like this forever...
