Derrick is super, super interested in exploring deep caverns and ancient structures. It’s a sort of curiosity that stuck with him way back from childhood, when he’d swim dangerously deep in low-sitting reefs to find underwater caverns. Kul Tiran kids be livin’ dangerous, yo.

Might be a strange interest for a sailor like him, but back then when he was alive, he was THE crew member who could hold his breath for the absolute longest underwater, and thus he would often go out for diving tasks. (I also like to imagine that he had bragged a LOT about finding pirates’ secret stashes in said underwater caves, but is it true? Who knows at this point!)

This interest did follow him in undeath, and doesn’t only extend to underwater places - though he has the beneficial trait of not needing to breathe anymore, so he got better at his job, if nothin’ else. He is quick and nimble, and also little more than a skeleton - he has a good sense for ancient traps and how to NOT trigger them. Super useful skill!

(While levelling him, I ran him through the Hinterlands, Vashj’ir, Uldum, and several other places that involved ancient ruins and fun cavern divings. Might as well build his character around this C: )

He also knows how to drum! That is something that I feel important to share. That is something he’s superb good at.

Happily answer anything lol  1. favourite place in your country? My favourite place is home? I like where we are living at the moment, it is in the middle of the countryside 2hrs from one of the main cities (*so we can technically go there if we wanted to). I live in a historic old town which was built during the gold rush, so I like the old buildings, the old feel to the main part of town but also the outlying areas and the nature around it.

3. does your country have access to sea? Yup! I love the ocean, and it becomes a second to the first question really, the ocean is my relaxation tool. I used to live really close to it on the other side of the country and could hear it at night. Now I live inland but we sometimes take a holiday close to the ocean - it’s like a yearly dose of water views :D I still like to watch the water and boats roll in.

7. three words from your native language that you like the most?

English is my native language but it has been mixed with a few other things over the years - I have to admit even some Aussie slang made its way in there. Ok, so 3 words.

 G’day is the first, I use this a lot, it is just a generic greeting, I know its often treated like a question in other countries (like hi how are you?)but in Australia, it just means hello. 

Mate, I use this word when im annoyed with someone. It isn’t really a word used that way most of the time here but more a personal thing I adapted to when I was in WoW and having to get people to do things in dungeons. It is commonly used to mean a friend.

1.What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

I’d say maximum is about 30 seconds. Then its straight to working on a droid or rebuilding her guns, or just doing anything to not stay still. It’s definitely a habit she picked up from when she was in her relationships.( If you are busy with something, you won’t get hurt.)

12.How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach? 

Kahnee will find a way to reach it and if she can’t figure out a way, she’ll find the most ridiculous way to get rid of it. Best case scenario, she asks Gault to scratch it for her. (He hates it…as expected.)

17.Are they easily embarrassed?

Kahnee likes to believe she doesn’t (playing the cool kid, you know?) but she gets embarrassed pretty easily. 

23.How does envy manifest itself in them (they take what they want, they become resentful, etc)?

She gets mad. Like really scary mad.
