IN ORDER OF QUESTIONS ASKED:

Orrin and Heavensturn

Orrin has always gotten excited for Heavensturn because it means his nameday is close behind! (It’s on January 6th, by the by.) Because the celebrations typically last in the week or so around it, it’s more often than not that the festivities and his nameday overlap. That and something about a holiday where you look forward to the coming year and invite all the good luck you can always strikes his fancy. It’s gotten an extra layer of excitement ever since he started staying in Eorzea, and learned that a lot of the celebrations actually come from the East as well, which is always great when you get a little homesick.

Scrap and this year’s Heavensturn

Thanks to Rhenbraen ( @renofmanyalts ) coming back to Limsa Lominsa for some leave time from the Firmament, it’s likely that they’ll be spending at least some of their time together, if not as muc has Scrap can. Actually thanks to Rhenbraen, Scrap has also met Orrin, which he’s quickly figured out means food is coming along with that.

Band and music

Band got into music at a pretty young age. It was something that always fascinated her, and after being adopted Jenene encouraged her to explore it. She likes being able to use her energy--good or bad--to create, and it gives her a good outlet to keep herself out of trouble. Most of the time. Barding and adventuring and all.

Ehn’s precious memory

Ehn’s not a man with many precious memories, but any time where he could be with his mom without feeling like he was just getting underfoot is something he clings tight to and hopes not to let go of. He has a vague memory of being young and curled into his mother’s since as she was teaching him to read, and while he can’t recall any of the details he remembers feeling at ease in that moment.

Mostly Y’aromirr gets a sense of jealousy seeing others with a close bond with their birth families - happy brothers, close pairs of mothers & daughters and the sort. He always wished to be closer while he has biological family, and time took them from him before he could change much...

Jasmine: Whats one thing your character wants?

Stability. Whether or not they’ll let people know it, Siobhahn deeply desires to be and feel safe somewhere, but they haven’t found that place yet. So they travel.. and travel.. and worry...

Nettle: What’s one person your character hates/dislikes and why?

Khamgaal is closest hating Shiun of any person he dislikes (which otherwise almost entirely consists of his extended family) simply because of how he treats him - like a son. He left the steppe to get away from people trying to coddle and care for him just to run into more of it in Shiun - and it doesn’t help that he often reeks of alcohol...

Jade will display light affection in public, such as handholding or a light kiss against Vel’s cheeks/lips. If they find a secluded place, she’ll be happy to cuddle for a bit. She might be slightly more affectionate on dates, but I feel like that’s a given. She is very careful not to be over the top in public though. She’s definitely huge on showering Vel in affection when they’re in private though, which is something Vel is definitely not used to!
