Imagine, while you and everyone else are hanging out, an old song comes on the radio. You all stop, and one of you rushes to crank it up as loud as possible. No one is shying away from singing--- everyone sings their heart out, not caring if they’re not the best singer. It would be a great injustice not to sing along to such a classic hit!
Imagine you’ve put together an outfit that you feel really comfortable and good in! You throw it on and wanna have some people see, so you head down to the lair. You shout the turtles names, asking for their honest opinions. Once they see, they’re quiet for a moment and you’re overwhelmed with the compliments they give you. They insist you have a personal photo shoot, and they even pose with you in some pictures!
Imagine you’ve got a group chat with the turtles, April and Casey. Its intention was for planning meet-ups or talking about important things, but mostly it’s become Mikey’s dumping ground of memes he finds. He’s very fond of sending ‘tag yourself’ memes, wanting to know how everyone saw themselves and seeing if it was different from what he assumed.
Imagine you and the turtles somehow get into the topic of favorite films within a certain company/universe (i.e Disney, Marvel, DC, Dreamworks, Pixar, etc.) You all name your favorites, and some of you decide to playfully argue against it. Well, in the blink of an eye, the playful banter turns to legit arguments--- everyone’s making their own points and declaring their favorite a ‘cinematic masterpiece,’ and there seems to be no end to the madness. That is until Splinter decides he’s had enough of an earful about you all fighting about movies, but not before he says his favorite is the best and leaving you all behind with a smirk on his face as you all start arguing again.
Imagine you and the turtles trying to find something to watch to pass the time. You all finally agree on something, expecting to just watch an episode or two. You all get sucked into the show, barely moving just to keep watching the show. Whenever someone paused it, it seemed like forever ‘til they played it again.
Imagine it’s a special day for one of the turtles! You decide to get him a gift and excitedly place it in front of him, urging him to open it. He laughs and does so at your request, only to find... another box. He laughs it off, expecting just the one, but stops laughing when he finds another one. He looks to you, seeing your smug look, and he laughs dryly, hoping it’s the end. Another one..
His reaction when he finally gets to the end--- and of course, during the process--- is priceless.
(SVA) Imagine getting occasional "checking in' texts from your turt- when he wakes up, finishes training, or gets back from patrol, just to see how you're doing
Imagine you’ve got a hobby of photography/filmography! You’ve just become confident enough to show the turtles some of your pictures/footage so far, and they love it! Soon, they’re asking if they can tag along on some of your photo shoot/filming trips if they’re able to. When they do come along, at first, they watch you from a distance, not wanting to make you feel pressured/suffocated by their presence, but to where they can still see your footage. Gradually, they start getting closer, and before you know it, you’re doing photo shoots/short films of them first one by one, then gradually all together. Once they’ve finally had their share of the spotlight, they’re practically bouncing to see the results. They shower you with compliments, especially on how you made them look amazing! You all laugh at the funny shots, and they go over every picture/video so many times, you have to pry the camera away from them, assuring them there will be more in the future if they’re up for it (they immediately say yes).
