These low-carb pizza bites are a great snack or appetizer for people on the keto diet. You can add your favorite pizza toppings and they're easy to make.
Ingredients: 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/4 cup almond flour. 1 egg. 1/4 cup low-carb marinara sauce. Your choice of keto-friendly pizza toppings e.g., pepperoni, olives, mushrooms.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. In a bowl that can go in the microwave, melt the shredded mozzarella cheese for 30 seconds at a time until it's all melted. The almond flour and egg should be mixed in well. Each ball should have about 1 tablespoon of dough in it. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. To make a small well, press down with your thumb in the middle of each dough ball. Place a small amount of marinara sauce and your choice of pizza toppings in each well. Let it bake in a hot oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown and the cheese starts to bubble. Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve it.
