Had a day out to Fishguard or Abergwaun in Wales. It's funny to this that its where my grandad was from and where my mum spent a lot of time growing up. I feel like I should have more memories of the place than I actually do, but I suppose that in its self is a good reason to visit these places and make them. We ended up calling into the most amazing knitting shop where I bought a knitting pin. I'm hoping I'll be able to take this on my flight to aus and knit massive novelty socks. On the way there we stopped at Cardigan and had lunch at the pizza tipi. http://www.pizzatipi.co.uk I'd highly recommend a visit. The location is stunning, food was fantastic and the staff friendly and helpful. We ended up sharing a wood fired pizza with tomato sauce, olives, onions, tomatoes and extra mushrooms. We also had a fresh and light side salad which was great to share.
