PJO Femslash Week Day Four: Classic Tropes

Pipabeth high school AU: Piper is a theater kid and Annabeth is that studious girl that catches her eye.

Piper's in the middle of rehearsal one day when she spots a girl walking in to talk to one of the teachers supervising.

Her heart stops and she blushes, entranced by the way this mystery girl's blonde curls are tied up high, but how some fall in her face. The way she walked and how she swayed slightly as she stood.

Piper had frozen on stage, causing the director to reprimand her which just made her blush even more.

Her and Jason are dating because they're playing the romantic leads in the play. Now, Piper can't take her mind off this girl. But she and Jason are supposed to be dating aren't they?

Little does she know, Annabeth's been admiring from her from afar for a long while.

They meet for the first time when Annabeth is staring at her phone in the hallway and isn't paying attention to where she's going. She bumps into Piper and they both fall to the floor.

They're both immediately flustered cause, "oh god the cute girl is literally right in front of me holy shit"

After awkwardly helping each other pick up their books, they introduced themselves.

Piper spontaneously asked Annabeth if she wanted to hang out sometime. The way Annabeth tugged on her backpack straps when she agreed made Piper's heart flutter.

The two girls quickly bond and become great friends, while their crushes on each other only increase.

By now, the play has ended but Piper and Jason are still together. Piper feels like she's not getting anything out of it. She doesn't get the same spark as she does when spending time with Annabeth.

They eventually break it off, both in mutual agreement that their relationship wasn't working out and that they only stayed together because of the play. Besides, Jason seems to have his eyes on that one kid with the curly hair and suspenders who likes engineering.

Piper and Annabeth help each other study the subjects they're not so good at. Annabeth doesn't do too well in English because of her dyslexia and Piper isn't the best at science.

Piper is the only one who can get Annabeth to actually sleep.

One day, they're in Annabeth's room cramming for an exam. They're both exhausted and aren't really thinking straight (haha). In a daze, Annabeth leans forward and kisses Piper. That immediately wakes Piper up.

Annabeth is terrified of what she just did, afraid she ruined their friendship, but Piper just smiles and kisses her back. They start dating from then on.

They're the couple that holds hands in the hallway, no matter how far away their classes are.

Piper will take Annabeth to the skate park occasionally and tries to teach her how to ride. Annabeth is surprisingly really good for her first try, while Piper is still covered in neon band aids after a year of skateboarding.

They also see Percy Jackson there, a good friend of Annabeth's. The three of them hang out together at the skatepark.

Annabeth joins crew for the next musical/play so she can be with Piper more

They hate when couples freaking go at it in school so they kiss each other on the cheek in public often.

They're both a part of the GSA and go to pride together.

PJO Femslash Week Day Six: Career 

Florist!Reyna/Tattoo Artist!Calypso

Calypso pushed open the door to the pastel pink building, a bell chiming above her. She scanned the shop before her, her eyes glazing over the array of tulips and roses. The store was filled with different types of floral plants, which made the inner gardener inside Calypso giddy. Her shift at the tattoo parlor had just ended, so she decided to go to the flower shop across the street to see if they had anything that could complete her home, which was in fact filled with plants.

She wandered around the room at first, looking at each individual plant. Calypso wasn’t quite sure what she wanted. Her room could do with a nice yellow accent. Maybe some sunflowers would do. As if on cue, Calypso spotted a bundle of sunflowers in a corner of the store. She smiled as she walked over to the display. Lifting the black pot, she inspected the bright petals. She then nodded to herself slightly.  These were the ones.

Walking up to the register, Calypso noticed it was only her and whoever was behind the counter in the shop. However, when she got there, she almost stopped in her tracks. The employee was absolutely gorgeous. Her long, dark hair was braided down her back, a purple flower woven into the hair tie. Her lips were pursed in concentration and her eyes seemed to shine. She wore a purple tank top and shorts with a pastel apron that matched the store, which was likely her work attire. Calypso’s eyes began to focus on the girl’s toned muscles. How’d she get those as a florist? She must be athletic on the side. She was spraying the pink petals of a bouquet of carnations when Calypso noticed her. A few seconds afterwards, the girl looked up. Calypso could then see the nametag on her apron. Reyna.  

“Hey, can I help you?” She spoke. Crap. Even her voice sounded heavenly. Calypso stood in silence for a moment, subconsciously biting her lip, before realizing that’s definitely not normal and placed the flowers on the counter.

“I-uh...I'm just getting these.”

Reyna nodded, though her eyes were off somewhere else. Calypso could tell she was looking over the array of tattoos that adorned Calypso’s arms and legs, and especially the one on her neck. It was a colored vine that seemed to whirl around her skin with blooming red flowers decorating it.

“Nice tattoos,” Reyna said, grabbing Calypso’s sunflowers and calculating the price. “Where’d you get them?”

“Oh, at the parlor across the street actually. I did most of the ones on my right arm and my legs, but I got some friends to do the ones on my body and left arm.” Calypso handed over her credit card to pay.

“Damn, you did those? That's amazing.”

Calypso pulled at her caramel hair, running her fingers through it as a blush spread across her cheeks. “Th-thank you. I love doing it.”

Reyna pushed the flowers back towards Calypso, a receipt now with them. “Alright, you're good. Enjoy the flowers and...come again.”

Calypso nodded. “I definitely will. This place is great.” She was about to turn and leave, flowers in hand, when Reyna spoke up again.

“Uh…this is kinda weird but...do you think you could...could you give me a tattoo sometime?” Calypso felt the corners of her lips turn upwards and her heart melting, but Reyna didn't seem to notice, continuing to ramble instead. “I'm sorry if that's weird I've just really wanted a tattoo for a long time maybe a flower or something I don't know I just think yours look really nice and-”

“Reyna,” Calypso interrupted, not really caring about how strange it was to say the name of this girl who hadn't even introduced herself. “I'd love to.” Calypso spotted a bit of pink on Reyna’s cheeks.

“Oh, thank you.”

“I'm coming in tomorrow at 10am and I'll be there until 6pm. Stop in whenever you want and I'll be happy to give you one. I’m...Calypso, by the way.” Calypso gripped her loose, pastel pink shirt in her hands, feeling giddy and helpless.”

“Reyna. Well, you knew that already. I have off work tomorrow so I'll stop by once I'm done at the gym.” The girl’s posture heightened, as if a burst of confidence surged through her. “Can't miss seeing someone like you again, after all.”

That's it. That was the death of Calypso. She had to resist clutching her heart and dramatically collapsing to the ground. She instead reacted with a shy smile and a rapid heartbeat. “I’d say the same to you, flower girl.”

Reyna laughed. “Okay, if you call me ‘flower girl’ I definitely don’t want to see you again.”

“Noted, p-pretty girl at the flower shop.”

This time Reyna nodded. “Much better.”

“Well, I should probably head out,” Calypso said, clutching the sunflowers to her chest. “See you tomorrow then?”

“See you tomorrow.”

Calypso left the store with flowers in her hand and a smile on her face, the same cheerful bell filling the room as she pulled the door open. She left with excitement in her heart. That was the day that Reyna changed her world.

PJO Femslash Week Day One: Firsts

Reyna/Rachel first kiss for @pjosapphicweeks

It started with Rachel painting. She always seemed to be painting, didn't she? Though this time, she'd chosen Reyna to be her model. Rachel had painted people before. A bunch of demigods at camp happily volunteered to be her muse. But Reyna was by far the best model Rachel ever had.

Of course, Rachel was covered in paint. She wasn't the cleanest artist, but it was all a part of her brand at this point. An idea began to creep into her brain, which made Rachel smirk mischievously. She stuck a couple fingers into the blue paint and flicked it towards Reyna. The paint landed perfectly on Reyna's cheek. Her eyes widened and she let out a laugh.

"Oh you're on, Red," Reyna instigated, doing the same with red paint. The two girls began to laugh, running around the room holding as much paint as they could grab. It became an all out war. Neither of them cared about the paint in their hair, or in Rachel's case, how much she was wasting it. They were having way too much fun to have a care in the world. Paint splatters and laughter filled the room, both girls wishing their time together would never end.

By the time the paint war was finished, both of them were exhausted. They laid next to each other on the messy ground, which was luckily covered in newspapers. Their hearts beat in sync as they took deep breaths. Rachel turned her head so she could see Reyna laying next to her. Even covered in paint, she still looked gorgeous. Reyna turned to look at Rachel then, the corners of her lips turning upwards a bit. They stared into each other's eyes as the tension rose. Rachel could feel the adrenaline pumping through her veins as she moved closer to the girl. Placing a hand on Reyna's cheek, Rachel kissed her softly. She ignored the probably harmful taste of acrylics and focused on Reyna's hand moving towards her hip. Rachel's heart managed to beat even faster when Reyna kissed back. The kiss was short, but left Rachel feeling light headed and dreamy when they parted.

Panic started to set in when Reyna didn't immediately react, but her smile made everything okay. Rachel responded with a smile of her own as Reyna grabbed Rachel's hand.

"Aphrodite was right," Reyna said.

"Hm?" Rachel questioned, confused. Reyna had never mentioned Aphrodite speaking to her before.

s Reyna's fingers brushed over Rachel's knuckles as she spoke. "No demigod shall heal my heart."
