Reyna woke up in a bed not her own, a body all too familiar in her arms. A wave of happiness rushed over her as she recalled the night before.

She and Piper had finally gotten around to talking. She had confessed to Piper the truth, told her how she had been in love with her for years, and in turn Piper had admitted the same was true for her.

They had kissed for the first time, but had refrained from doing anything else. Instead, they had fallen asleep in Piper’s bed, spooning.

Reyna felt Piper shifting in her arms and leaned forward to press her lips against Piper’s shoulder blade. “You awake, baby?” she asked.

Piper hummed a low sound before she sleepily rolled over so she was facing Reyna. “Yeah, Reyn,” she said. “I’m awake.” She leaned forward and slanted their lips together in a hesitant, hopeful kiss.

Reyna felt tears prickle in her eyes as she kissed her back. “I love you, Piper. I love you so much,” she whispered into Piper’s mouth. 

Reyna felt Piper smile as she whispered back, “I love you too, Reyna. My Reyna.” Reyna pulled her into a deeper kiss, reaching up to cup her cheek. 

“My Piper.”
